Asked for a menu and we were shown two blackboards with choices in German and Spanish, in that order.Limited menu but quality of food very good and service efficient. Nicely decorated restaurant with pretty outside terrace.Owner and all other customers German, not your typical Mallorcan place

We have visited a few times during our stay in Cala Dâor and and we have enjoyed each time. The staff are very friendly and look like they are having lots of fun serving you and working!We sampled some of the tapas which was great and really reasonably priced. The cocktails are also fab!Open late & I would Highly recommend a visit!

I am neither vegetarian nor vegan, but love this restaurant! They serve an "Ã la carte" dinner July through August (the curry is to die for!) and a buffet the rest of the year. All of the food is vegetarian, with many gluten-free and vegan options (more than half). Most of the vegetables even come from their own garden! At our hotel we were recommended to visit this restaurant from other guests and my goodness we were not disappointed. The owners were very friendly and accommodating as were the staff. The setting was perfect on the marina. The restaurant was modern, clean and comfortable. The menu had a lovely choice of food and the owner personally came to the table to explain specials, her recommendations and more about her menu. We had such a relaxed comfortable experience. The food is absolutely gorgeous along with the presentation...it is proberly the best meal I have had in a long time...I didn't want it to end. I indulged in a pudding which again was beautiful. The owner took very good care of us and gave us a lovely personal touch. We were celebrating my birthday and it was made extra special by the experience of this restaurant and the owner taking the time to meet and greet her customers. We highly highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to get the opportunity to go back because we would be back in a heartbeat.Thank you for taking your time to review us. This new restaurant hides its light under a bushel. What appears to be an 'ethical' café, which markets itself as a 'gluten-free, 0 Km, healthy' restaurant, suitable for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores, is really a very high-end restaurant. The owner/chef has spent time in highly rated kitchens around the world, with all his experience gained evident on a highly creative menu, filled with original ideas.I would normally run a mile from any eatery that markets itself as a gluten-free cafe, or any such trendy description. But we went here on the recommendation of friends who have dined in some of the world's best restaurants. Open barely a month, the slightly spartan, homespun appearance belies its genuine gastronomy.The fact that Retroway is 100% gluten-free may be part of their selling proposition but to non-coeliacs like us, this is completely irrelevant. However, the fact that everything on the menu is market-bought and sourced locally, grown organically and of the highest quality is very relevant and it shows. The menu is complemented with a large specials offering, full of original and delicious ideas.We were blown away and we'll be back.woow thank you very much for your words and to take your time to write this review for us. We love finding little gems and this is such a place. This to us was the essence of a Mallorca experience. We visited for lunch and had freshly made quality with an authentic Mallorca feel. We enjoyed figs in bacon, patatas, mini-chorizo, shrimps, fruti de mare salad, mushrooms, tomato bread, various croquettes. Mostly locally sourced, all fresh.At first glance you may think you are at the wrong place, a small boutique along the road but at the back there are few tables hidden in a courtyard. The courtyard is very warm but Rene assured us he is getting a fan fitted this week. The decoration is eclectic with art, plants and various knick-knacks. The service is personal and friendly, the kids were welcome and the total bill came to a lot less than what we've been paying anywhere else (and here we got super tasty quality food).Thank you Rene for the wonderful service, the travel tips and outstanding food.We wish you luck and recommend anyone to visit your lovely place!Thank you very much for the kind words.
