This place is a gem but tucked away a bit. You are talked through the menu by the chef who creates interesting takes on Spanish favourites. Stunning food at excellent prices. Worth finding!

This is another motorway service area with large restaurant and seating for approx. 100 diners. Very clean and hygienic. Take away available also. Supermarket facilities in the building. Restrooms spotless and constantly serviced. Serving staff very friendly and helpful. Two other buses and almost a full carpark when we arrived. It was busy.I ordered the Paella Perscado with breadroll, my wife the Redondo De Ternera, both accompanied by a soft drink. We may have been unlucky in being served from the residue in the bain marie; our meals were tepid and suddenly no one could understand English. We gave up and just eat most of them. The bread roll was fresh and the drinks were nicely chilled. Cost Euro19.25. We enjoyed our cappuccinos to go from another outlet in store.

Tiene muy buena imagen para gacer grandes comidas, pero si lo que te interesa es ir rápido: una ensalada y un plato del dÃa (Fideuá en mi caso) fué una fantástica elección. Muy económico y bueno.

Todo muy rico, el pulpo rocker delicioso,tierno,en su punto... Y solo 9 pavos! Precio calidad estupendisimo! Lo que no me gustó es que los domingos no hay muchas cosas que elegir pues no van con carta sino que te dicen los platos que hay ese dÃa. Iba Con ganas de comerme una hamburguesa y cosas asà de picoteo y no pude, eso no me gustó. Que especifiquen bien en su facebook cuando SI funcionan a carta y cuando NO, asà me podrÃa haber ahorrado el viaje e ir otro dÃa. Solo lo digo como mejora, porque otros 3 chicos que llegaron después que nosotros también les pasó lo mismo. Creo que es un error no tener la carta complementareamente a platos fuera de carta. En Los espaguetis a la bololesa no me gustó nada la salsa y el queso ese por encima tampoco. No deberÃan ponerle queso pues no sabes si al cliente Le gusta o no, deberÃan de ofrecer queso pero en polvo, por supuesto. (las camareras muy serviciales y majas!)

What a pleasant surprise! We were driving back to Alicante from Murcia and decided to stop at Restaurante Carlos in Santomera. What a good decision! Superior home-style cooking. Best arroz con leche we've tried. Next time we go to Ikea we'll skip the nasty meatballs and stop at Carlos again.

We had dinner here and had a great experience. I donât normally post reviews about restaurants but wanted to share this amazing find. The steak was amazing quality and the staff were super friendly which made the evening for us. Itâs a notch above other restaurants in the area with the modern interior and so I wasnât surprised to hear that the owner has another branch in Madrid too. He is very hands on and was chatting to us making sure we were well looked after and itâs nice to have that personal touch.
