The night out with my husband to celebrate our Anniversary in a simple but with an exciting dining experience was a success as Keith hotel cater to our simple expectation. The Kangaroo fillet was amazing and the sizzling prawns were bit over caramelised. Yet the chocolate cake with ice cream was yummy and i always like the dessert there. The buffet was simple but with variety and the ambiance was nice for a rainy Saturday night.Staff is friendly and we always recommend the local place to anyone.

We came through Keith early and there was not much happening in the main drag so we did a lap and stumbled across this place. We had a burger each (brekkie burgers) which were both really good and a surprisingly good coffee. It is run by Gordon and Barb who are salt of the earth types and deliver genuinely good old style food and service.

BP Roadhouse Keith South Aust

Travelling east and looking for an early morning breakfast. BP Roadhouse Keith was about the only breakfast spot open – so it was in for eggs and bacon for breakfast. The roadhouse has been an institution in Keith for many years and still continues to serve now open 24 hours. The store does not seem to have changed that much over the years with the main area surrounded by stock and a service area. The menu boards are behind the counter although I did find out later that print copies are available in the adjacent eat-in areas. The service is friendly and the wait time was not that long. Two serves of eggs and bacon on toast, one with friend eggs and the other scrambled eggs. Two skinny flat whits to finish off. The coffees arrived first and had a pleasant flavour with a soft aftertaste although the coffee was a tad mild for my liking. The main dishes arrived with a serving that was generous and hot! Three rashes of bacon, eggs and grilled tomatoes all served on toast. This was a typical country breakfast and was filling and well appreciated.Besides the inside eating areas there are several tables outside and under cover. Toilets are also handy just next door. The BP Roadhouse Keith dos not pertain to be fine-dining but is a good basic no-frills type of eating place with a well-defined menu.Return? Definitely.
