Arriving 45 min after confirming opening hours with the restaurant. Kitchen was closed, only comment from the waitress: "ah, you talked to the chef, he was most likely drunk and went already home". This wasn't worth a 20 minutes detour...

This must have been our eighth visit to the Bellavista - and the place, its people and food have yet to disappoint. Genuine Italian food within a spitting distance to the Baltic Sea - what more could you ask for? Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service, child-friendly atmosphere and food that tastes really good indeed. Our favourite dish is the penne all'Arrabbiata - simple, spicy and delicious. Worth a detour, if you ask me.

Nach den langen und unschönen Querelen um einen Standort in Travemünde hat GOSCH das gastronomische Angebot hier erheblich bereichert. Der Lage gehört zu den besten, direkt an der Trave gelegen, und sie bietet sowohl von den Aussenplätzen als auch Dank der grosszügigen Verglasung des Restaurant einen guten Blick auf das maritime Geschehen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist ansprechend, das Personal an den Tresen flott und locker, freundlich und kommunikativ, die Preise einem Seebad angemessen.Auch wenn SB Restaurants nicht meine 1. Wahl sind war ich schon mehrere Male hier bei Gosch und wurde bisher nie enttäuscht. Nur der gemischte Salat hat sicher noch Potential nach oben. Sonderwünsche in der Zusammenstellung - abweichend von den Angeboten auf den Tafeln - wurden bisher stets ermöglicht. Die Portionen sind ausreichend gross, die Weingläser immer gut geschenkt.Mehrfach bestellte ich den EDELFISCHTELLER für 17,50 â¬, den ich zu meinem absoluten Favoriten erklärt habe und guten Gewissens empfehlen kann.GOSCH wird sicher öfter mit meinem Besuch rechnen können.

My husband and I have travelled from autralia and we spent 2 nights in Travemunde This cafe was just absolutely fantastic Food was so fresh and meals were very big Great value Staff were very friendly and very helpful converting menu to English Would highly recommend

It been a great weather on Sunday so our family decided to drive so far from Maschen to have lunch here after we haven't been for long time and of course my parents last dinning here was spectacular with top notch fish and great service.Unfortunately, the best restaurant of the town it wasn't there anymore. The food and service turned us down. We could have just pop by at any restaurant in our hometown because of same quality.However, the decoration is so sweet.

After long day of walking around Lubeck downtown we needed some food before driving to ferry. Surprised to see that few restaurants were open around Travemunde.Location on old ship was nice. Service OK. We were happy with our putensteak and schnitzel.Prices weren't that bad and drinks reliable German quality.

I visited the Restaurant on a wonderful day, but even then the sea wind becomes chilly in the evenings. To keep its customers cosy, the Gabbiano uses outdoor seats forming a wall against wind and by-walkers. So the seating is really enjoyable. The food is italian style, though on a high level. There are pizze, but their other food is of first class. We had thin sliced octopus meat as entre (Carpacio), a wonderful lamb filet and great liver. The waitress was helpful and punctual, the drinks cold and worth their prices.

This is the second type my wife and I have been to this restaurant on different occasions and the fish is always of an excellent quality and freshness.Their Turbot (Steinbutt), when available, is completely outstanding. Not only it is absolutely fresh but it is always prepared correctly with the skin crispy and golden brown with the flesh juicy but properly done. My wife's family ate other fish plates and at the end we were all completely pleased.The service is always great and the beer is always cold as it should be.Highly recommended.

Enjoyed very friendly service, fresh local fish and Labskaus, plus fish and chips for our kid. Dining outside on the swimming terrace is fun,too, as long as you don't mind the occasional movement. Excellent spot for watching ships passing by in a quiet environment. Note the restaurant can neither be seen nor directly accessed from the nearby "Auf dem Baggersand" street, only from "Fischereihafen" (fish harbor) footpath.

We had Dorschfilet and Patato with shrimps and sourcream. It was okay but not the quality the almost best restaurant of Travemünde should have. (2 of 34).The fishfilet was in many small pieces and the shrimppatatoe too greasy. The personnel was okay and friendly. Nice view on the harbour from the quay.
