We were visiting Travemunde with German friends to see the boat festival. The restaurant is on the river front with excellent views of the passing ships. We all had seafood. the meals were well prepared. Menus were available in English. The service was prompt and polite. This is a great little down to visit, walk the streets, see the various boats, shop and have a pleasant meal.

Dopo una lunga giornata di autostrada non avevamo voglia di cucinare ma eravamo in Germania!!!!! Non avevamo voglia di pizza pasta o altre italianità !!!!!! Così ignorando il menu abbiamo chiesto dei wurstel. "Salsicce?" ha frainteso il ragazzo " certo che ne abbiamo!" E ci ha portato due enormi salsicce con patate arrosto. Veramente buone ma salsicce e patate erano, più una birra e un' acqua. 50.00 diconsi cinquanta! euro!!!!!!!!! Una vera esagerazione. Se poi siete italiani nostalgici che volete profumo di casa anche lassù allora tutto ok. I ragazzi sono veramente simpatici e cordiali con la loro Calabria nel cuore.

We ordered 2 pizzas which were very good. The staff was speaking German of course but also English and Italian.The service was excellent!We saw the dishes ordered by the other guests and they all looked delicious.We were on the terrace which is big enough, there is a good space between the tables.I really recommend this restaurant.

Wir haben gestern vom Softeis über Milchshakes bis zum Kugeleis alles probiert.Alles war sehr lecker und ist einen Besuch wert. Das Eis wird Vorort frisch produziert, was man auch schmecken kann. Sehr lecker!!!Das Personal und der â Eispeer â waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam!!!Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

This must have been our eighth visit to the Bellavista - and the place, its people and food have yet to disappoint. Genuine Italian food within a spitting distance to the Baltic Sea - what more could you ask for? Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service, child-friendly atmosphere and food that tastes really good indeed. Our favourite dish is the penne all'Arrabbiata - simple, spicy and delicious. Worth a detour, if you ask me.

Was here for a recent birthday celebration. Fantastic variety of food, well prepared and presented. Plenty for the party too. Service enthusiastic and efficient. Delicious and tender beef served.

I visited the Restaurant on a wonderful day, but even then the sea wind becomes chilly in the evenings. To keep its customers cosy, the Gabbiano uses outdoor seats forming a wall against wind and by-walkers. So the seating is really enjoyable. The food is italian style, though on a high level. There are pizze, but their other food is of first class. We had thin sliced octopus meat as entre (Carpacio), a wonderful lamb filet and great liver. The waitress was helpful and punctual, the drinks cold and worth their prices.

The Casablanca is at the Vordereihe which is Travemuendes shopping promenade.During the summer season the Street is closed for traffic and the guests love to enjoy their meals in the outside sitting area. Watching the ships and the people go by. The have a very good italian cuisine. Because Travemuende is a touristic town the prices are a little bit higher and the meals are a little bit smaller then in other non-touristic-towns.But the food is very nice and Casablanca is a very good choice for eating in Travemuende.Another good Restaurant with excelent cuisine will be Savoir Vivre (we had our wedding lunch there) at the historic building "Alte Vogtei" only 3min away from Casablanca
