It been a great weather on Sunday so our family decided to drive so far from Maschen to have lunch here after we haven't been for long time and of course my parents last dinning here was spectacular with top notch fish and great service.Unfortunately, the best restaurant of the town it wasn't there anymore. The food and service turned us down. We could have just pop by at any restaurant in our hometown because of same quality.However, the decoration is so sweet.

For a change from sitting by the river, this place sits right on the small square in this charming town. The service was great. They couldnât have been nicer. The pizza was excellent and the spaghetti very good. It was a nice day so we sat outside. The inside is much more charming than the other places we looked at.

A very limited choice but what they serve is appopriate. At the end because of expensive water EURO 4.50 for prepared tab water it gets quite expensive. Limited choice . Only nice sceen

We had dinner in Johanssens on a windy September evening.The overall setup of the restaurant made us feel warm at once.Meat and fish dishes were typically German and all those we had were tasty and very good.Service was efficient and friendly.Thanks a lot for your review!

After long day of walking around Lubeck downtown we needed some food before driving to ferry. Surprised to see that few restaurants were open around Travemunde.Location on old ship was nice. Service OK. We were happy with our putensteak and schnitzel.Prices weren't that bad and drinks reliable German quality.

I visited the Restaurant on a wonderful day, but even then the sea wind becomes chilly in the evenings. To keep its customers cosy, the Gabbiano uses outdoor seats forming a wall against wind and by-walkers. So the seating is really enjoyable. The food is italian style, though on a high level. There are pizze, but their other food is of first class. We had thin sliced octopus meat as entre (Carpacio), a wonderful lamb filet and great liver. The waitress was helpful and punctual, the drinks cold and worth their prices.

The Casablanca is at the Vordereihe which is Travemuendes shopping promenade.During the summer season the Street is closed for traffic and the guests love to enjoy their meals in the outside sitting area. Watching the ships and the people go by. The have a very good italian cuisine. Because Travemuende is a touristic town the prices are a little bit higher and the meals are a little bit smaller then in other non-touristic-towns.But the food is very nice and Casablanca is a very good choice for eating in Travemuende.Another good Restaurant with excelent cuisine will be Savoir Vivre (we had our wedding lunch there) at the historic building "Alte Vogtei" only 3min away from Casablanca

I stayed 5 days with my family in Travemunde and we tested some local restaurants .We enjoyed having dinner in an old medieval bulding from the 15 th century ,where was the local police until 2002 .The cafe Fisch und Meer Restaurant was a good option ,we stayed here twice ,one evening inside and one evening outside at the terrace .They serve hot meals ,local fish from the Baltic sea, and a large selection of drinks ...prices are mid -ranged .I liked the maritime atmosphere and the decoration inside the restaurant ,the waiters were very friendly

In 2012, Buddenbrooks was awarded its second Michelin star; and let me make this known right from the beginning: I believe the stars to be absolutely well earned â for what a fabulous experience!With just four tables for 2 and two tables for 4, there is not room for many guests â albeit the place could easily hold more tables. For there was more than plenty space, a fact that I appreciate very much. In addition to a enjoying a more intimate dinner, this also allowed me to carry on a conversation with my girl friend without disturbing the other guests, and vice versa. Not for one minute could one be in doubt that the quality of the entire experience is paramount here.It is a 6-course menu. However, as always in such fantastic restaurants, you receive a multitude of appetizers, and â when all is said and done â you will have consumed no less than 14 courses. The upshot of this luckily meant an added bonus for me. For, even before the actual menu took its beginning, my girlfriend had already eaten her full, thus leaving all the more for me. As to taste, all courses represent a profusion of various flavours all coming together into a perfectly unique experience and, in combination with the visual impression, there only one word that denotes every facet of what we were exposed to that evening, namely âWeltklasseâ!The wine menu comprised the entire Europe â albeit focusing on wine from South Germany; and, like the food, every wine was better than the one preceding it. And, not having it in my heart to leave such excellent wine behind; I enjoyed each and every one of them to the very last drop. And, sadly, I have to admit that I got more than just a wee tipsy.After dinner, we even had the honour to shake the hand of the chef himself â the much famed German cook, Christian Scharrer, thus making a perfect ending of an amazing and absolutely unforgettable evening.I shall be more than happy to make the trip from Denmark to Germany, just to eat here once again.

Wir haben gestern vom Softeis über Milchshakes bis zum Kugeleis alles probiert.Alles war sehr lecker und ist einen Besuch wert. Das Eis wird Vorort frisch produziert, was man auch schmecken kann. Sehr lecker!!!Das Personal und der â Eispeer â waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam!!!Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.
