We were staying at a motel down the road so stopped off here as very thirsty and hungry. It was quite busy when we arrived but we waited about 5 minutes after we'd sat down for the menus, and then a further 20 or so minutes before we ordered. However, once we had ordered the drinks arrived promptly, albeit mine which I think he had forgotten about. The pizzas we all ordered were very good. I didn't get the side salad I had ordered either but then didn't get charged for it!

We ate here at the end of August last year and I've been meaning to write a review ever since, as we had such a lovely meal. I was looking for a restaurant within walking distance of the Ibis Budget Saint Malo Centre where we were spending the last night of our holiday, and came across the review by LordLucan2010 recommending Casa Cosi (thank you LordLucan!). We arrived at the restaurant shortly after it opened for dinner and although they were clearly pretty much fully booked, they managed to squeeze us in. The service was fantastic - the waitresses were so friendly and smiley - and the starters and pizzas were all absolutely delicious. We really couldn't have asked for a better meal to finish our holiday and we will definitely be returning for our 'last night meal' this year. Highly recommend!

La Dolce Vita

We had lunch here on Easter Sunday following a recommendation from our hotel. This is a local Italian eatery owned and run by an Italian couple. On the menu are starters and pasta dishes plus desserts. As there were five of us the waiter suggested we ordered the set menu to avoid waiting too long for our dishes. Nonetheless we ended up spending more than three hours at the restaurant! This is because there was only one person serving tables. It was a shame as the owners are very friendly and proud of their restaurant.

We went to the restaurant during August 2015 not having booked. There were 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 12. We were accommodated straight away and there were several tables already taken and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. The menu is simple and mostly pastas and pizzas. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. We had one pasta dish and 3 pizzas all of which were very tasty and made a pleasant change from the abundance of seafood in the area. They also do takeaways which was useful to note as we were staying in an apartment nearby.

Pasta&Pizza

The chef and his wife are the entire staff for this small Italian restaurant. She has very good English and a good sense of humor. Our food was very good and reasonably priced. My wife had Carbonara which was excellent. I had a sausage pizza which had very thin crust, a thin layer of tomato sauce from fresh tomatoes, a thin layer of cheese and sausage crumbled over the top. Also excellent. Nothing was too thick or too much of it like in the USA. The pizza came uncut but with a flimsy steak knife. I have never had a pizza served uncut before. So, I went autopilot and tried to cut it into wedges with the flimsy knife. This worked but was difficult. Too late, I noticed that the locals were all cutting their pizzas into small squares or rectangles! :) So, when we return to St. Malo, to Pasta and Pizza, I will again order the pizza but know how to cut it!!Seriously, we enjoyed this place and would eat here again.
