Villa Pinnawala is the first luxurious villa close to the world famous pinnawala elephant orphanage and a newly opened zoo. The resort is in only one hour to kandy, two and half hours to the world heritage site of Sigiriya, two hours to Pinnawala from airport. Reviewed By rachelandstueyWe didn't stay here, we were staying at Elephant Bay Hotel, but we kept coming here for dinners and drinks. What a beautiful setting, away from the main street, so quiet, and the pool looked fantastic. We asked to see the rooms - I wish we had stayed here instead of where we did. We looked them up on Booking.com but it says 'sold out', apparently they're in some kind of dispute with them and this must be a tactic - contact Villa Pinnawala directly - they have rooms available! Beautifully landscaped too

Reviewed By patz mWe loved our night at walawa family villa. Staff are very helpful and the food was very good. I had organised safari and transport with the owner before we went and everything went smoothly. The safari was a big highlight for us all, the driver was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here and organising transport/safari with the owner. Accommodation was also very good.

Reviewed By 4globaltravellerHuge and impeccable clean rooms with AC and fan, very nice bath, it all Looks fresh, new and clean. It is the best money for value we had on our Trip. There is no Restaurant anymore as described in the Guide Book of Stefan Loose, but when we asked about a meal, the owners mother cooked especially for us a fantastic Dinner! It is also a good place to Sit on the Balkony and relax in Peace for an afternoon. The owner helps you with Anything you need - so we enjoyed this place very much and we recommend it without exzeptions.

Reviewed By yehanfAwesome weekend getaway in this lovely homely villa. the villa accommodated 14 of us individuals and the owner Dasun was on point with his communication and all relevant booking requirements. but the highlight was Mr and Mrs Pathirathne, the take carers of this wonderful clean and spacious villa. and the food was out of this world. proper Sri Lankan cuisine (just the way we loved) at it's best ? the complementary battered mushrooms were heavenly. ?? Mr Ananda aka Pathi was very attentive to detail and made sure the facilities were upto the standards. a great place for family and friends. the bbq which was prepared on point and the meat was marinated perfectly ?? looking forward for many more visits to this lovely villa. highly recommended. great value for ur money.

Reviewed By ajithgamageI did the booking via booking.com and when I reach the place they were telling they are fully booked and they missed to do the cancellation in the booking .com site. At that time was 10PM and I was with my kid . very disappointing and not recommending any one to do the booking this place.
