A step back in time
Reviewed By unibabeWe booked one night here to be in the mountains and access the local walks. The road to the hotel was marked as closed when we were trying to find it, but we evntually ignored the sign and found the hotel. Great views looking south. The hotel has a colonial feel to it, with lots of dark brown wood and dark tiled floors, and heavy wooden room doors. It was cold - no heating at all, and wifi only in the reception area. Dinner buffet offered a choice of meats, fish and vegetable options with vegetables and breakfast offered a basic variety of foods. the hotel was fine but I probably wouldn't choose to stay there again as it was cold, dated and not that friendly.

Guests have access to all of the services and infrastructures available at Dazkarizeh 73 Park. Children with ages under 16 years old can only use the jacuzzi and sauna if accompanied by an adult.

Reviewed By RiSi87We spend 7 Days at Dazkarizeh and we loved it. We had the Malaca Room which has a great View and a nice little terrace. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is really great. You can choose between having it down at the little Restaurant or you get a basket which you can take to your room and eat there. We used the kitchen 3 times to cook. Its simple but okay. The best thing about the kitchen is that it has a lot of glas around so you can enjoy the nature while cooking. The whole guesthouse has a very nice asien style. We had a great time.

Reviewed By randcpWhat a unique and fascinating place to stay...probably the most memorable of all the places we've stayed at over 13 springtime holidays in Madeira. Being centred on a farm bordering the ocean, green is all around, as well as blue sea and skies. For our 48 hours there we had plenty to see and do without leaving it, including a tai chi class offered in the garden. People visit via cable car for the small beach bar- restaurant away from the accommodation. We had a lovely sunset meal and breakfasts there. Just right temperature in March - could be very hot in high summer at the foot of the cliffs. The evenings are particularly peaceful. The Bungalow (upper storey of a converted stone- built barn) where we stayed exceeded our expectations, having somewhat more facilities, style and space than anticipated. The staff were friendly, relaxed and can-do, they even leapt to the challenge of dropping off something I left, at my next hotel.

Beautiful mountain hotel with stunning views and friendly welcome
Reviewed By ejp44We stayed in the wooden lodge building which was cosy, comfortable, and warm with breathtaking views down the valley. Traditional breakfast and dinner in the main hotel were delicious with friendly and helpful waiting staff. Perfect base for hiking and running in the beautiful Madeiran mountains.

Reviewed By Carlos LIt’s just a great place to stay. The apartments are very clean and comfortable and the view is just absolutely amazing. You have your peace and your quiet because in front of the hotel there’s almost no traffic but just 10 minutes away driving there is the village of ribeira brava where you can find everything you need. Our room has air-conditioning that also worked as a heater so very comfortable. They even left there’s a basket of fruit as a gift from their own yard. How cool is that? All in all this very recommendable and great value for money.

Merci aussi à toute l'équipe qui a un bon exemple à suivre : Manuel. La chambre est très confortable, quoique humide (il a plu toute la semaine). Les petits déjeuners sont très bons et fait à la minute avec beaucoup de soin. Le Jacuzzi et le sauna sont également très plaisants... Nous recommandons

Reviewed By Christine PJust home. Bed terrible room dark dingy and noisy Old tired shabby hotel in lovely location Pool shown on booking .com is 5 mins away Public and payable ! Half board is vouchers for a nearby restaurant which is quite nice staff do their best in this run down 1 * place Breakfast varied but hot food is cold lift out of order most of the week would not recommend or visit again. Needs investment!
