I have been to a lot of hotels and honestly this must be one of the best. The service, the location, the views, everything was absolutely AMAZING. We will definitely be back!

Pebble Beach

We had reserved a table for 3 evenings at the Pebble Beach restaurant prior to staying at the Qualia after reading previous reviews and were not disappointed. We were given a sealed envelope with two tasting menus inside (one was gluten free) when we arrived at the restaurant & we decided not to look at the menu making the evening more interesting. The food was imaginative and delicious with every course complimenting the previous ones, three fish, a steak course, then cheese followed by an outstanding dessert. We relaxed at the end of the meal with petit fours served with coffee & liqueur. The service matched the food & we appreciated having a fantastic view of the ocean whilst it was still light but could still hear the ocean lapping the shore when it got dark. On our second evening we were given a completely different tasting menus with different matching wines & we thoroughly enjoyed that evening because both the courses & matching wine were very different. We then eat in another restaurant for the next two evenings but returned for our last evening on Hamilton Island. We had already been asked what our favourite courses were from the previous evenings & the chef arranged for our own personalised menu, BRILLIANT!!!!The courses included Yellowfin Tuna, Marron (Crayfish) Salmon, & Duck, this restaurant would probably be recognised with a Michelin Star in Europe or a Chef Hat else where in Australia. A very special restaurant making our stay at the Qualia resort very memorable, thank you!!!!

This restaurant charges extremely high prices and for that you want amazing food and great service. We got neitherBugs deep fried and over cooked nothing on the plate had any flavour As for the service at one point there were 6 staff at the bar chatting and we could not get anyone’s attention, one of our companions had to walk to the bar and talk to them. When wait staff did come to the table completely they missed obvious opportunities to fill glasses. We had to ask several times for our wine as it was kept at a distance which they then over poured. Very disappointing I counted 4 different wait staff on our table, here’s a hint to management assign tables to particular staff and they might improve. Train them to offer service before it’s asked for and when they are asked to deliver something the answer isn’t ‘yes yes I’m coming!’ It should never get to that point, and they should never talk to s first like it’s an inconvenience.
