Passage Peak

We took the path from the back of the whitsunday apartments the natural rough track good in most part but with rubble making it slippery in parts.. we walked over this hill to the airport side and caught the bus back. A nice walk but pick the right time of day to do it.

The marina is beautiful!
Very well maintained and captures gorgeous sunsets. Many food outlets and everything is within walking distance from one another.
Chilled spot during the day and bustling at night!
Not a lot of places to do activities with the family though so not a place to spend the whole day!

Six of us and we really enjoyed it. Went for the Race Day package at $75 which gave you two 10 minute runs. Karts are quick enough and the circuit is enjoyable. You wear helmets but don't have to put overalls on like you do at some circuits which I enjoyed. Some poor driving and full speed crashes but everyone was fine. Only slight grumble, one member of staff only and so if you spin it did take some time for them to come and push you back on if they are serving inside. She was super friendly though. Overall brilliant.

WILD LIFE Hamilton Island

WILD LIFE Hamilton Island is one of only a few places in the world where you can experience the thrill and excitement of cuddling a koala. This is an excellent opportunity to get up close and personal with one of Australia's most famous and unique animals. Other experiences include Breakfast with the Koalas, Koala Cuddle Photos, personal encounters with other animals including our Dingoes, Snakes and Lizards, our Keeper Tours (free with admission) and the Twilight Tour and BBQ. To start out our tour group booked the wrong package. Breakfast was poor especially compared to our hotels offered breakfast buffet. You can see the koalas from pretty much any table, some having a better view than others. I really wouldn't recommend the breakfast though unless you've booked the Koala cuddles. Even then I'm not even sure I would recommend this tour activity.
