We use to go to this restaurant for celebrating some special occassion. Food quality is high and the most consistent i found around here. They also have variety, so one can order with confidence meat as well as fish. It is a place for wedding and similar so the staff is very professional and attentive. The ambience is luxurious. I have a very poor opinion of restaurants and tarragona cusine but i find les fonts to be the exception. I reccomend this place without exception. PS: be prepared to spend 40+ eur PAX a la carte.

Probably the best tavern I've been to in Tarragona. The menu contains a wide range of plates. We visited this place 3 or 4 times. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. The tavern is definitely worth visiting!

Excellent host with great personal skills in hospitality, completely let down by her kitchen. We ordered entrecôte, tocar ferro salad and bread, all being on wrong end of the taste spectrum. We shared our honest view with the host and left as soon as we could.Tarragona offers a good culinary experience but definitely not this place. If you pay 10 euro pp more here, you are into fine dining venues.

We booked a table for a family meal. We had booked weeks before and asked if they would have vegan and vegetarian dishes, we were assured they did. Our group was booked for an early lunch, when we arrived the requests were information about the vegetarian choices were met with contempt, it turns out that there were no mains that were vegetarian and nothing was vegan. The owners were rude, we were rushed through the meal and we had not even had our coffees when they brought the bill and asked us to pay as there were people waiting for the table. This has never ever happened in Tarragona before. If that is the policy, they should inform you when you book. Ours was a family meal, with many people and we needed a litle more time. The meal would have gone a bit more smoothly anyway had they not kept forgetting to bring dishes and getting the order wrong. We are most surely not coming back and not recommending this restaurant. They may have been good, but they are now more intent on client bulk rather than customer service.

The restaurant was highly recommended by a local colleague. Nice place, with a contemporary look, local wine OK (in particular the white one), some interesting amuse-bouche to begin, assorted starters OK (in particular the fish ceviche) though not so well suited for sharing. The monkfish with romesco sauce was acceptable but a little lacking character. Gorgeous desserts by the look of them, but did not try any... Good service, partly English speaking, English menus anyway. Prices not low but reasonable. Very nice presentations for food.

We were there during a busy holiday weekend and felt fortunate to get a table. We have a festival menu it consisted of three starters, and we elected for the tuna steaks, and lemon sorbet for dessert. Our sparkling water included. We had read the price should have 15€, we were charged 23€ which didn’t seem overpriced for the quality and the quantity of food.

We arrived at 22.45 with a reservation and first of all we were told, that the kitchen was closing so we had to hurry. One of the waitresses cleaned the dirty clothes in front of our faces and laid them on the table to re-use them. Our waiter seemed very stressed and when the food arrived, it wasn‘t good at all. We ordered the Tapas-Menu and the meat wasn‘t cooked properly. We payed way too much for the quality of the food and the service wasn‘t nice as well. Hi. You called over the phone and I told you that the restaurant was full. You asked me to please get you a table. I called another customer and changed the time for you to come. The time was 10:30 PM and you came at 11:05 PM with the kitchen closed. Even so we took care of you. When I ate your food you were laughing at me and the guy who spoke Spanish started to ask me all sorts of things to finally ask for nothing and laugh at me. If you want to be treated with education, the first thing you have to do is be educated. And if you do the favor of giving yourself a table when the restaurant is full, the polite thing is to arrive on time. We also hope that you never return

Perfect dinner, We had really good tapas, the menu is not very big but the quality of the food was excellent and not expensive at all. The service was very good, really friendly, speaking English very well. Eating outside in the square, not many tourists, mainly Spanish people. Absolutely a place to recommend.

The poor menu leaves few alternatives - so i ordered a burger. This was the most greasy and disgusting piece of meat I have ever encountered. Served with something like a beast’s gut on top - that gushed even more fat over it, and potatoes on the side. No vegetables at all - just a few cooked onion rings, and no bread. Now a few hours later I can still feel the greasy fat slowly moving it’s way down my intestines. Man that was utterly disgusting!Sorry to tell you that in our restaurant no greasy meat is served, however we take note of your comments to keep improving.
