Friendly family run place. Has a wide menu, and daily special, popular with the locals, best to reserve at the weekends, its not gormet but its good. has a covered terraza and views of the beach. I think its closed October and November. and is one of the few places that has some non gallego and even vegetarian dishes (fried cheese, pisto which is like ratatouille, vegetable croquettes), locally sourced wine is good.be warned that they get very busy so service can be very slow and its common for them to randomly serve food as it comes out of the kitchen so one person can be ready for the dessert when another has just received their starter. so Go early!

I've been in bayona a few times already and always same ending, the best place to go and eat excellent seafood (octopus is absolutly great), is El Balneario. Not just for the quality of the food, but for the service (David is incredible and will make you feel at home).

We visited Jamoneria Serrano twice during our one-week stay in Nigrán.First time at busy ours during the weekend-perfect service! Magnificent meal-tapas at its best.Second time during slow season Tuesday-perfect service and magnificent meal.Both times the personnel had a presence that was really professional, and we were really pleased.Please visit Jamoneria Serrano and be satisfied!

Went in here for lunch on a rainy November day as it was packed - seems like the special of whole cooked fish draws the crowds in, so a nice atmosphere to boot. The place itself isn't formal at all, so a relaxed atmosphere but the fish we had was really well cooked and flavoured (onions, peppers and fried potato). Certainly worth going if you're in the area (fish was â¬18 euro per person).

At lunch yesterday, we asked the owner (Fuentes de Zeta, wonderful) for a suggestion for dinner. She suggested this place. We walked and it was a good long walk from the main area of Baiona. I think we got there at 9:30 and we're the first ones in the place. So funny how late they eat here. By the time we left it was crowded. We had one of their specialty dished which was a pasta with shrimp and it was delicious. If there is a negative, the server was friendly but not warm. May have been the language barrier. The place was also warm. If 3.5 stars were allowed, I'd do that. Food was very good quality.

Nice place, nice terrace, wonderful service, attitude, etc. and very good food.They should change current Rissotto by another with no "setas de cardo and mushrooms" and "funghi porcini" instead. Some additional cream. Neverthelles it´s a site to come back once and thousand times.

Los Abetos continues to be the best classic Asador in this area. Very comfortable and elegant setting with a glass covered terrace, our favorite sitting area. We went here on a local recommendation although it seemed off the beaten track. Having been once in the early part of our holiday, we enjoyed it so much we went back a second time. We enjoyed several very tasty dishes slightly different from the usual routine tapas dishes . We particularly enjoyed the pork medallions with caramelised onions and the grilled chicken with sherry and honey. We also really enjoyed the chocolate mousse which we ate on each occasion we went The portions were quite large so we nearly ordered too much food but our waitress helpfully explained this to us and suggested we order less initially and we could order more if we needed to. She was absolutely right as there was plenty of delicious food. It is definitely worth making the effort to drive out to this restaurant,. The staff were lovely too. It would be wise to book in advance as it gets very busy.

This place has enough staff to attend all tables, but the waiters clearly lack organization and/or experience.. They often didn't know which table to serve, they brought our food before the drinks, and they were quite slow in general... On the other hand, the food was good and the terrace had a nice view and access to the beach. I'm not sure if I would return...Buenos dÃas, estimado cliente.
