We two dropped by for lunch at 2 p.m. on a weekday without making a reservation. Luckily we found a table in the empty dining room. Within half an hour most of the tables were taken, so I recommend booking in advance. The menu is typically Andalucian, with plenty of fish and meats cooked in the usual manner. There is also an extensive selection of tapas which looked very good.We shared a large bowl of delicious Salmorejo which was a meal in itself, garnished with jamon, boiled egg and tuna. My salmon a la plancha was possibly the weakest element of this meal, as the salmon, rather than being a single decent piece was three smallish slices. It had been cooked, but not seared and the skin remained limp and soft rather than my preferred crispy and well-coloured. The chicken brochette was very nicely prepared and tasted good.We had a bottle of the house red, and a bottle of water. The bill was around E45 excluding a tip.All round a decent experience.

One of my favourite places, as it is close to home as well.It is situated in a very nice location with fantastic view over the mountains and valley. Service is always superb and very attentive to our needs. If you ask for something special, they will try to make it for you.Food is very good with big portions, so no excuse for being hungry after a meal.I recommend this place with honour. Muchas gracias por su visita y por su opinión Henrik, para nosostros es un placer atenderles y nos alegra que haya disfrutado con la visita a nuestras instalaciones:Saludos cordiales de todo el equipo de Hacienda Los Conejitos

Visited this restaurant several times during our stay in Álora, delicious food and value for money unbelievable, staff work really hard and the female waitress is extremely friendly, we don’t speak much Spanish but do our best to try and I think it’s appreciated, Andalucia Day was particularly busy but they worked like trojans to accommodate all of their customers.

We’d never have found this restaurant but it was recommended by our Airbnb. We went for a long lunch. Had a wonderful experience. Bottle of House wine, bread, two fabulous main courses (monkfish and steak) a chocolate brownie, coffees brandy and cava for 70e. Best meal we’ve had on our trip. Great service too.

We bumped into this lovely small organic restaurant combined with an organic food shop. We had lunch for 9,50 per person. This includes an entré, a main course, desert and a drink. There was a choice out of 4 entrees. We were a party of 4 and each of us had a different one. All in our party were delighted. The crema, the sopa, the macaroni and the salad were all rated as excellent. Also the main courses were a success. Large portions. If you like desert try the ‘arroz con leche’ . Delicious. If again in Malaga i will return there.,

We stayed at the adjoining hotel for 4 nights and used the restaurant on 3 evenings. We would have dined here every night but were committed to a night out with friends on one evening. We felt there was a good choice of aperitifs, starters, mains and postres and portions were large so be warned, do not over-face yourself. The special Tapas menu is excellent but with 5 courses to go at, we were unable to eat it all!We thought the food was excellent and would certainly not hesitate to recommend the establishment. Service was friendly and efficient and we dined outside on the terrace in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We paid around 75 Euros for a meal for 2 which included aperitifs (sherry, ham and cheese), starters, main courses, bottle of wine, bottle of water and coffees. We would particularly recommend the "Cazuela de Pescado" (monk fish, salmon, and prawns) or the pork fillet, but to be honest, we found all the food we had to be most enjoyable and plentiful (so make sure you are hungry!).

Visited here by chance whilst passing by. This restaurant is not the best located - in an industrial area opposite a train track, with what looked to be a gypsy encampment next door in a disused Big Top. Despite these shortcomings however this is clearly a popular local spot. The reason for this, I assume, is some truly excellent seafood. Many of their dishes are just various seafoods salted and grilled, and all are excellent. Tomato salad also top notch. If you happen to be nearby and want a different dining experience look no further!
