3-star rural Andalusian hotel with 18 rooms located in an old Arab dairy, transformed into a charming hotel and restaurant surrounded by orange trees, in the shadow of the Holy Slate and along the River Guadalhorce. With acres and acres of countryside, you are completely immersed in nature. At El Cortijo del Arte you will find a tapas bar and an a la carte restaurant serving local specialties. It also features a garden with free barbecue facilities and packed lunches upon request. This accommodation has free Wi-Fi and free parking. Unique countryside activities can be organised upon request, such as goats cheese making at a local goat farm, mule and cart ride, olive oil factory and many more for the whole family. Cortijo del Arte is a privilege of rest away from the noise and stress of the city.

Reviewed By dkbeThis place comes with white table cloth and nice glasses, which creates expectations, of course. The menu adds to this, lots of promising dishes on offer, fish and meat. We went with croquetas as a starter and Pork and beef as mains. Quality was good, but all was served on ice-cold plates in a rather cool room at this time of the year, which cools down the meal really quick. Service was friendly but rather rushed. It felt tome that the potential was not used up.

Don Joaquin hostel is catalogued as a "unique establishment Caminito del Rey". With five rooms "studio type with kitchen", designed to ensure maximum comfort during your stay. All of them have been recently refurbished and are equipped with air conditioning / heating, private bathroom, free amenities and towels, TV, free WIFI. We have a restaurant in our establishment, where we serve the best breakfasts in the area with the best fruit and oranges. It is located only 20 minutes by car from the north entrance of the "Caminito del Rey".

Gasten die in onze Bed en Breakfast vakantie vieren genieten van de vrolijkheid en ontspannen sfeer op de finca. Ze vinden het gezellig dat er een mogelijkheid is om andere mensen te ontmoeten. Dat levert ook verrassende contacten op, mooie gesprekken, lachen met elkaar en proosten op het leven. Echter, niks moet en alles mag. Het is ook fijn om je lekker terug te trekken met een boek, uit te rusten, de stilte te horen en te dromen. Gelukkig voelen gasten zich vrij om te doen waar ze zin in hebben. Wij zijn gastvrij voor iedereen vanaf 8 jaar. Escaping Marbs!
Reviewed By Tracey-McLeodI decided to escape Marbella this New Year's Eve as fireworks and leaving my hound = trouble!! So I took myself and Scooby-Doo on a little adventure instead.. We needed pet friendly accommodation and being as my hound hates the car I didn't want to venture too far. We googled and came across finca Alegria de la vida, about an hours drive and the owners Bert and Margaret have hounds too so happily welcomed myself and Scooby. So after getting lost only once ,(excellent for me) we arrived at the finca and the welcome Scooby received from his new furry friends made me know instantly I'd made the right decision! His new friends were so enthusiastic in welcoming him they were all trying to hop into the mini to get immediate access to him. He was in doggie heaven! So after a sit down and chat with Bert whilst the dogs all introduced themselves formally you know the way..licking and sniffing various body parts! We were then shown to our room and it was just beautiful, rustic with nice comforts, kettle, hairdryer, tea and coffee etc..and nice little touches even a little present for me. The views from the room are stunning and with the little table and chairs outside you can really take in the vista. I took Scooby and the smallest of his new friends for a long walk in the country side it was so warm and just lovely to be out in the fresh air with the hounds. The scenery is truly stunning. I ate with the owners as an evening meal is an option. for 15 euros for 2 courses I certainly wasn't expecting the amazing meal that Bert cooked... Home made soup and a hearty main course that would satisfy even the hungriest of guests. It was nice to dine with them as both Margaret and Bert are lovely, intelligent people and so easy to get on with... Whilst getting changed for dinner I could not remember a year I had not been out to a party for New Year's Eve so this will be one to remember! So to sum up this place was everything I expected of a county escape and a little bit more.

Biker paradise
Reviewed By Geri301I stayed there at the end of October and had a great time. The hosts are extremely friendly and cater for all your requests. This is the base of motorcycle and e-bike activities so the clients are primarily bikers which added to the good feeling after a long day's ride. Breakfast is great, and dinner as well. Monday is Paella night so don't miss out ? The location is perfect if you plan a biking holiday and they arrange airport transfer for you. I can only recommend and will hopefully return soon ?

Casa Dilica is a b&b and offers a relaxed and family atmosphere, under the motto 'mi casa es tu casa'! At 20 min from Malaga airport in the beautiful inland of Andalusia. No mass tourism, just enjoy a break and relax. Walking, cycling, on adventure? Or just enjoying the nice weather and the view at the swimming pool or in the garden. * PURA VIDA *
We would certainly come back to this lovely place!
Reviewed By LuckiestCoupleWe I stayed for one night last week. Everything was superb, much more than expected. The hosts Linda and Dirk were very welcoming. The room was excellent. Linda happily catered for a vegetarian breakfast, and it was amazing, including with some special banana blueberries coconut pancakes. The photos on the B&B website are accurate. The rooms are modern, comfortable, clean, all windows are screened. The local has a pool and a special place for kids to play. There are two dogs and they are a pleasure, and made no noise at night. The children were quiet. The B&B rooms are in a separate wing of the house to the owners' section, there is more than enough privacy. Cellular service is spotty, but the owners provided a good wifi so we had no problems there. The hosts have provided a fully stocked fridge which works on an honour system, and they were very clear about this when we were shown around the place. If you wanted to turn up and cook your own dinner or lunch, you could do that quite easily, and there is negligible mark-up on the articles, obviously this is a service the hosts are providing to make the stay more enjoyable, and not to make a profit. A bottle of red Spanish wine cost only 5 euros. There is also a free parking spot. The place is not closer to the beach, perhaps 30 min drive distance, since it is located around Pizarra. This information is very clear to everyone. If we are needing a B&B in the area, we would certainly come back to this place. 100% recommendable!

Reviewed By veoka21Llegamos al hostal y nos atienden en un bar/sportium, lo cual supone que estaba sucio y con ruido. La habitación normal, pequeña, pero bueno estábamos de paso, pero cuando entras hace un frío... solo había un apartado de aire acondicionado el cual echaba muy poco aire, asique mucho frío, pero del ruido no vamos a hablar... dormir en silencio esta sobrevalorado...
