In low season this is only open for lunch during the week, all day Friday and Saturday. Lunch is set price with limited choice. Depending on your choice it's excellent value for money (8â¬) or a disaster. Beer and both starters were ok, good salad but my main course was uncooked chicken and soggy chips, the cod cakes were just ok. Deserts both looked like creme brûlée though we ordered one Apple tart and one ice cream?! The cafe was well frequented by Spanish business travellers and was more like a transport cafe than a restaurant. Have a picnic or eat in!!

Mecedora is a treasure. I want to keep the restaurant a secret so I can always get a reservation. But everyone needs to know that food is one thing when dining but another is the setting and atmosphere. Mecedora has it all. Arrive early for an Cana or aperitif before dinner outside in the private courtyard.....smell and see the Paella Valenciana being prepared and cooking on open fires. Then go inside for the elegance of the perfect setting to have tapas and a main course. Paellas are a specialty but there are many other choices. If you find an all around better place to dine please Tell us us as we would be surprised.Michael Luck and Barbara Wilson

Hemos comido bien, pero pagar 14 euros por un menú del dÃa es para recibir abundancia o gran calidad.En cambio, comimos un gazpacho rico pero en una tacita de broma, no en un gran tazón y un trocito de pollo a la brasa que fue más que insuficiente.El postre mejoró: una deliciosa tarta de queso.No volveré, sobre todo teniendo zonas de picnic en el parque acuático
