Very friendly staff, modern and clean rooms and bathroom, small but good kitchen facilities and an excellent price. You can walk to pretty much all of the tourist sites from the hotel. Highly recommended. Gracias!!

Stopped in for three days from the Camino
Reviewed By DeadfredsLa casa Verde Viguera La Roja Spain is a well-kept secret that needs to be talked about and definitely needs to be visited. Quiet peaceful restful quaint house and beautiful area I stopped here to rest my knee from an injury while walking the Camino de Santiago. Reasonably priced well worth the visit.

Reviewed By peace-protectPerfect location for visiting the city. Price- quality is perfect in balance. Clean rooms, new towels every day, good WiFi and friendly people. They clean the rooms everyday, store your luggage when checked out and there is a 24 hours occupied reception desk. Well done.

Reviewed By GWayneLA nice albergue on the Via de la Plata. Friendly staff. Good facilities. Was 12 Euros with breakfast (10 without). Just a few steps off the path and close to interesting section of town. Recommended for walkers and bikers on the Camino de Santiago.

Our Tourist Hostel La Almazara, located in Villafranca de los Barros (Badajoz), is located in an old Almazara cultural heritage of this wonderful town. Surrounded by olive trees along the Via de la Plata route, the #peregrinos will be able to enjoy and rest in this oasis. We have a cafeteria, restaurant, salt water pool, outdoor terraces for use and enjoyment by anyone.

Reviewed By KasiaM792This is one of the best places I have stayed for the night during my pilgrimage. The whole building is beautifully decorated, clean, the area is very calm and quiet. I felt like I was going back in time. The stay itself was a great rest, but that's nothing compared to the service here. Susana, the main hostess, was like a family member to me, she gave me salt water for my tired feet, I felt very taken care of. I recommend every pilgrim and tourist to stop in this place and feel this energy and atmosphere.

It's ok for 1 night I guess

The place is clean but it's on a busy street and there's a much bigger hotel down the road and they make parties at this other hotel and you can hear the parties and you can hear people singing and the cars driving by. It was ok because we spent 1 night there and the breakfast was free. There wasn't many choices for sleeping in Olivença so I guess if you want a cheap simple ok room you wont go wrong with this one. The old man (the owner maybe) who showed us the room wasn't very friendly but the rest of the staff was nice. The breakfast was ok.

Reviewed By Sgarcia74Nos alojamos una noche un grupo de amigos, 6 adultos y 6 niños. Una experiencia fabulosa, está junto a la piscina Y el albergue para los peques fue toda una aventura. Todo muy muy limpio, habitaciones, baños, camas confortables. El propietario (Jose) muy amable, de 10, gracias a el, completamos el fin de semana con actividades de agua en el pantano de Alange (a 30 min), barquitas, piraguas, paddel board, vela, windsurf, sky acuatico. Gracias por la sugerencia. No defrauda
