Excellent service, present but not overwhelming. Fine ingredients mixed with wisdom and cooked to perfection. Excellent clams with green sauce and fantastic fish on Spanish sauce. Hails to the chef.

Nice small place, decorated with taste and in rustic manner.
We had Carne de Alguidar and some fried chicken, aside of other stuff. All were very tasty. But the food is heavy, with a lot of fat. One needs to be careful about that.
The restaurant is not located in Elvas, but some 15-20 kilometers in the nearby village.
Modest pricing.

A really excellent family run restaurant. The staff are extremely helpfull and friendly. The food is very tasty and there is an excellent choice of local wines (the house wine itself is extremely good and great value). We had a great chat with the owner and he was able to recommend many sites and activities to us.
Highly recommended both for the wonderful food and service.

Unfortunately this review is only going to raise future diners expectations. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here. We can only concur with all the complimentary comments already written about this restaurant. The steak was extraordinary good and the wild boar - jabalí, a real treat.

Elegant restaurant with nicely varied menu featuring good selection of local food and wine, with courteous and friendly table service. The meals were well cooked and presented. And the prices were very reasonable. No criticisms whatsoever.

We just had a dinner at this restaurant. While other restaurants are very quiet, this one is almost full.
The food quality is very good and the standard of service is very professional. If you opt for fine dining your first time visit to Badajoz, this is the place you should not miss.

Great food, you have to try the morcilla de Guadalupe launch con patatas y pimentón De la Vera, which is black pudding for you Brits out, but not like you have had before. Staff are super friendly, cannot wait to my next visitMuchas Gracias por su opinión. Ha sido un verdadero placer tenerles en Becada.

Tired of the Spanish repetitive meals? This place was packed with locals enjoying themselves. The Gourmet Salad was one of the best we've had in Spain, the pizza had a light crust with perfectly cooked toppings & a spicy seasoning you could add if you like. The small dessert cups were the perfect finish to the meal. It was such a pleasure to have Maria Angeles switch to English to make our experience meaningful; we haven't had this in the other Spanish towns. Make sure you say 'yes' to the offer of orange liquer after your meal!! And all of this a 1 minute walk from the Tryp Medea hotel! Lovely Evening.

We took a couple of friends here for Sunday lunch - we arrived fairly early, and by 1pm or thereabouts the place was packed. It's a nice building, with nick-nackery on the walls, and something bordering on a canteen atmosphere. The food was, generally, pretty good - not the best we've ever had, but well above acceptable - the tomato soup was truly excellent. Large portions at a reasonable price, served in good time.
