Extrema most certainly deserves a visit; donât expect a fancy restaurant. Expect a typical Spanish bar serving non-typically good food for more than reasonable prices. This place seems simple and everyday but is terribly good. The pincho served with our first wine was a delicious pisto (vegetable stew). The wine list is short but very good. Both the local wines are excellent . We had a small dinner with the great âZorongollo Extremeñoâ salad that contains grilled lettuce (cogollos de Tudela) and a pizza with local cheeses and foie. Superb!! We ate far more than we wanted to.

En una esquina de la plazita ideal para tomar el aperitivo y/o alguna ración. El menú de finde semana ya son cosas mayores pues va de 20 a 25 euros por persona. Buen servicio, rápido y cordial.

We had diner with a group of 10 in what I call Davids living room. He and his family were very welcoming and took great care of us. David has his own farm where his sheep live good lives so you are sure you eat happy lamb!The food and home made wine were very fresh and tasty and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

We stopped for a light lunch, but no chance of light lunches at this place. The menu is only 10 euros, but that included starter, main, pudding, bread and drink. I had home made soup. It was just like my grandmother's and I almost burst into tears. It was delicious and simple. My main was veal with padron peppers. There was so much meat on my plate, my husband had to help me finish, and at least 30 padron peppers! Perfectly cooked, no fuss, delicious. The rice pudding was too sweet, but who can complain after such treat, both financially and gastronomical. The setting is beautiful, very rustic, quick service and friendly service. The place filled up whilst we were there, mostly locals and Spanish citizens, which is always a good sign.
