In contrast to the other reviewer on Trip Advisor we have visited Los Candiles on several occasions with Family and friends for Menu Del Dia and have always been satisfied with the service and quality after all its only â¬7.50 . It is very spanish but we are in Spain . With our limited Spanish and the staffs English we coped very well . Will visit again.

On our visit we were the only people in the restaurant and the fish and chips we wanted was not available. The person behind the bar explained the owner was away. Special fish and chips on Friday had to be booked in advance. We ate our meal and left vowing not to return.

We have an apartment in Almoradi and visit 3/4 times a year bringing family and friends. The service and food are always excellent and your made to feel like old friend's. The staff are very attentive and always check things are ok without being obtrusive, I don't understand Amanda h comments? If you felt that dissatisfied you should have spoken to the owner Heather who would have dealt with you dissatisfaction. The food is definitely not microwaved it's all home cooked.

what a great meal at fantastic prices, Jackie the chef had a great assortment of dishes on the menu, and i certainly wasn't disappointed when the food arrived. i went with my husband, sister and nephew and each of us were delighted. it was fresh, tasty and clean plates all round. would definately go back and wish Jackie all the best in this venture.

Average food and slow service.Heard good things from the local ex pat community so gave it a try for breakfast.Really wish we hadn't.One member of staff who clearly didn't like a large group expecting a service.After our food came out ...we noticed cockroaches on the floor. Not just 1 but easily 6+ dead and even a few having a wander.Certainly not the best experience but reasonable prices and good location make it easy accessible.Genuinely hope it improves as it has alot of potential Hi , Thanks for your feedback . We appreciate all comments good and bad to help us improve .The roaches and all other pulgas are controlled by a very competent company that are routinely treating and inspecting our premises which is fully certificated and up to date with all treatments. The roaches can walk through the front door from the communal drainage system and sightings although uncommon are possible.. All bars and restaurants are in the same situation and we work with our neighbouring bars and restaurants to keep the situation at bay . Obviously comments relating to roaches can be very damaging to businesses so it is imperative to us to ensure we respond and react in a positive manner . Regarding the service you received we will be speaking to the member of staff on duty at the time to see what went wrong and deal with the matter accordingly. Weâll also check out the cctv to give ourselves some clarity on the service you received . Many thanks once again for your feedback

Have recently had a couple of delicious meals at the Fat Owl Catral both times the food was excellent and lovely touches to the presentation and the service was fast and efficient we will certainly be returning again in the very near future.

The staff/owners are very friendly and helpful here. The food is very tasty and comes out quickly. It gets pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights so maybe you should book. Looking forward to going to the local market and trying the breakfast.
