Superb bed & breakfast in the old center of Avignon. Our bed and breakfast L'Observance is situated in the quiet area (Vernet) within the 14th century city walls. It has a spacious garden and a swimming pool. You will find the famous Palais des Papes and the Pont d'Avignon are at a walking distance of 15 minutes. L'Observance offers four charming rooms (with aircondition) and an apartment. The rooms have their own private bathrooms. The apartement (aircondition) with its own entrance, has a kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. On-site parking is possible. See you at l'Observance,

Reviewed By rosana15005 bed and breakfast, 1 apartment, swimming pool, top terrace. Excellent bed. Room's are big, cosy. With air conditioning, bathtub, shower, toilet, all you need are in the Room. Breakfast is not bad. We stay 6 days and it was excellent. Near by city center. You can book for parking, cost you bit less and worrying. No animals I understand. Town and side seing can ask the owner. Both of them; is very helpful. We recommend this BenB, for sure. Jorge the dog is friendly and quiet.

Honeymoon done, but we'll be back
Reviewed By Richard71JuneMy wife and I honeymooned here in July 2018. We found this amazing hidden gem on a different site and weren't quite sure what to expect, but were up for the adventure. We could not have been more satisfied with this experience!!! Jacques and his team (and family) were incredibly welcoming and totally accommodating to any questions or needs that we had. The room that we had is lovely and we would stay there again in a flash - in fact we're planning on it for our first anniversary next year. Don't miss out on the offer of trying the Provencale Apero in the gardens on at least one evening to watch the sun set elegantly over the peninsular on the western side of the bay! The beach is small but very accessible, and the private gardens are amazing. The location is very good, offering easy access to Sanary and also Six Fours, both of which have lovely restaurants and beaches. A hire car is probably advisable and Marseilles airport is about an hour's drive away.

A great location with beautiful views and Vincent &I his wife made our stay very comfortable. We stayed in the room that was attached to the main house, which was very clean and modern - comfortable bed too. A great place to relax and a wonderful breakfast provided by the owners. We should have stayed longer!

Reviewed By Klai2013The boutique suite is located in great location where it is near key areas of interest - old town, promenade de Anglais, shopping area etc Looking beyond the exterior of the building, the proprietor bought over a couple of floors and did extensive renovation to transform it to a modern and stylish boutique suite that has all the basic amenities. Importantly, the room is clean, brightly litted (natural light) and spacious. The security is well thought through too. While it is listed as a hotel, it is more akin to an Airbnb. Another thing to note, it does not have any lift. Thus, be prepared to walk up flight of stairs daily.

Nothing to write home about, but a very kind landlady
Reviewed By malalaFoxThe hotel is very near Aix en Provence, the rooms need some refurbishing but they are nicely decorated, each has its own style and colours. The landlady was very friendly and helpful and I enjoyed talking to her.
