If you want to eat in Cogolin thee are some wonderful restaurants to try out. Service and food here fine for a quick bite but well below the standard available locally at £25 a head in proper restaurants. Drinks service in another occasion a little lacklustre but it is a cafe bar. Watty

Four adults and three teenagers - the food is very good in this restaurant. The kids had pizza and our daughter had one with octopus that was very good in her opinion and it looked good. I had lobster risotto off the specials board and it was delicious and one friend had the lamb, which she loved. My husband had a steak and another friend the steak with foie gras, which looked fantastic but rather a lot of meat. Our deserts were just as good as our main courses. We booked a few days before so that we could eat at the back next to the water. The service was very good and very friendly. Brilliant evening out.

Very friendly waiters, very slow food service. Pizza delicious but rest of the food small portions and disappointing. Very expensive drinks so the overall bill felt too much for the quality of food. Had to wait ages between courses, waiters working hard but perhaps more kitchen staff needed.

This is a bit quirky for the area - it is neither ordinary nor posh. The food is hearty and plentiful. The salads, the Pizza's and the deserts were excellent I also had a Cote de beef one night, absolutely superb both in flavour and in size, and cooked to perfection. No complaints.It just misses that little extra to bring it up to the next level, however that may make a difference to the price as well - so how can we say anything negative.

Not having visited Cogolin Village this year we decided we wanted a little peace and quite after a couple of hours at Port Grimaud.This was the evening of Thursday 25th August 2016. We easily found a parking spot (about 20.00) a very short walk from our destination of the Town Hall square. Cogolin Village is very quiet in the evening but we knew roughly we would find something to eat there.In fact we manage to get one of the last tables outside at Cauvet. Over the years we have probably eaten here a couple of times but it is now smarter than we remember.We were warmly greeted and shown to table number 1. They have a little blackboard they place on your table with the suggestions of the day. We chose from the board a fillet de Dorade â¬15.50 and fillet Mignon de Pork â¬14.00. Both were beautifully presented and excellent in flavour and freshness.We had a 50cl pichet of the house Rosè excellent value at â¬6.00. A carafe of water, ice and bread added to our pleasure.We finished the meal with Cafè Gourand â¬9An overall very pleasant evening.We will return perhaps for a Pizza, they looked very nice.Thank you for choosing our restaurant and glad you had a good time with us ... we hope to see you very soon and it is with pleasure that we will enjoy our pizzas on a wood fire

In a lovely location, almost under the bridge and right on the canal this small Italian restaurant serves good (and yet nothing exceptional...)pizza and salads. The service is quick, friendly and "merry", the prices are perfect "value for money" and the house wine really good. It is so simple and cozy that you can go...again and again.!!!

After a disastrous fine dining booking that we ended up leaving, we arrived quite late to Pizza Leone and even though they were closing they prepared 2 very tasty pizzas for takeaway. Great job and super friendly staff.

have been using this pizza restaurant for years and the same patron. pizza and lamb chops a must. excellent value and when a gratuity is made the model railway at ceiling height goes round!lovely American mobiler he loves mustangs.will visit again next year hope he has not retired
