Relaxing holiday by the beach
Reviewed By CharlKMasonThe location of this place is excellent, direct access to the beach and proximity to Propriano town are hard to beat. In addition, all rooms have direct access to the garden which provides privacy. Overall the place looks very unassuming, the rooms are comfortable but basic and the restaurant looks more like a cafeteria. However despite the low-key look of the restaurant, the food quality is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Located in southern Corsica, at the entrance to the Propriano beach resort, the Bartaccia Hotel has 52 rooms (all recently constructed), 2 swimming pools , one of wich is heated (open between May to October ),a poolside restaurant with a terrace, (breakfast restaurant is open between April to October and diner restaurant is open between May to September) ,a Pool-house Bar, a Spa Bar, a tree and flower garden (2 hectares). The hotel also has two private car parks and a closed garage.

Reviewed By simplefruitA 15-minute walk from the town center the Hotel Bartaccia is in a nice location. The rooms are very nice but they need to keep an eye on some details.. The air conditioning didn't work very well. We ate in the restaurant one evening and it was poor. I don't like burnt food very much. We wouldn't stay again because of this.

Reviewed By PMC-V23We visited a renovated room which was lovely, especially the spa ambiance of the bathroom. We got an old room but it was still spacious, clean, with quality bedding and very well sound proofed. The breakfast was satisfying. It is located few steps from the harbor of Propriano. The reception was closed when we arrived at 2.30pm but there was a number to call. The owner gave us a nice treat.

The single-storey buildings have been completely renovated and boast panoramic views of the Gulf of Valinco. Reviewed By lambsX5we spent 1 week in August with our 3 girls the apartment T3 has just been renovated and is beautiful, well equipped and super quiet - it's so nice you can easily spend a week just relaxing on the sun lougers and enjoying the view cherry on the cake: a Jacuzzi on the (very private) terrace over looking the bay we did feel so at home that we only went once to town for diner as the terrace also has a barbecue the residence swimming pool is great (and heated) the hosts (Magali and Charles) are very nice and full of good tips for activity and beaches (don't miss Campomoro and Cupabia)

Reviewed By Jasmine38ChichesterThis is a great little place. It's situated 2km from the town up the hill so the views over the bay from all apartments is superb. We stayed in one of the new, modern one bed apartments which was very well furnished and equipped and included a small full kitchen. We especially liked the huge walk in shower and big terrace with both dining table and chairs and wicker sofas. The small complex has two swimming pools, a terrace where I believe you can order breakfast if you wish, and a laundry room with coin operated washers, dryer and iron/ironing board. Everywhere was very clean and tidy and it was a bonus for us that the reception staff spoke good English. In terms of location there is a big supermarket just a 5 minute walk away, along with a few other shops and a brasserie. It is possible to walk into town if you dont mind a fairly busy road and the uphill return. It takes about 30 mins each way. However, it is usually easy to find a street parking space in the evening for an easier drive down. Propriano itself is an OK harbour town with a number of mediocre restaurants but nothing special. The area around it, however, is beautiful with a spectacular coastline, some gorgeous beaches and good hiking options. You definitely need a car to explore. We would definitely stay at the Aria Marina again as it is high quality for a 3 star and offers a lot more space and catering independence for the money than a comparable hotel. We did notice, nevertheless, that some apartments were considerably older than where we were situated and looked, on the outside, more dated, so I would want to confirm the accommodation.

Reviewed By Dino WWe spent one night on our around-Corsica motorbike tour in the Neptune hotel and were happy to park our motorbikes free of charge on the hotels parking behind the building. The room was modern and clean. In the morning we met many fellow motorbikers who also spent the night in this hotel. Perfect.

If you are looking just for the hotel where all rooms has wonderful sea views, everything is cleaned to perfection, nice staff - this is the right place. The hotel is located very close to Main street full of shops and restaurants and also to the beach and sea port. The building looks quite old (inside as well as outside), furniture seeks for some renovations but this is greatly compensated with the staff friendliness (even with the fact their English is sometimes a bit limited), and very high cleaning standards. All hotel's staff is very professional and always smiling. You every moment feel they are ready to help You. Pros: Aircondition worked quietly and effectively. Very good WiFi speed. We were a bit surprised there was no fridge in a room. All the rooms has very very spacious terrace to look at the sunset over the mountains and relax. Cons: TV has about 45 channels - all in French. For us personally the bed was a little bit tooo soft but I know lots of people which would consider it as very positive feature. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We were there for a week and lived in room 201 DO NOT book a hotel in Propriano if you plan to use public transport and especially return home from Figari Airport. The taxi might be very!!! expensive.

The hotel has beautiful and well kept grounds with panoramic views of Valinca bay. The staff at the hotel were always very friendly and helpful. We want to thank all the staff for making our holiday in Corsica a very memorable experience.
