It is nice to be surprised now and again, and I certainly was surprised to find this family run restaurant in Chippewa. We stopped by for lunch on Saturday. Service was excellent, and the range of lunchtime specials very comprehensive. The complimentary tortilla chips and fresh salsa were delicious. I chose a fundido, which was like a fried enchilada, with rice, avocado, cheese and salad. It was first class. There is a high level of authenticity here, and I am already thinking of good reasons to go back.

Just there yesterday and got the taco special. Also like the taco salad and especially the black raspberry custard. Everyday is a new custard flavor. This place is an old famous car cruise place from days gone by. It was a "Valley" hang out in the day. Family owned for many years. Great service.

Farm to Fork is not a large dine-in establishment. They do have several small tables. Their forte is in the quality of their selections. We had three items as takeout for lunch, Pepper Steak over Rice, Pulled Pork Sandwich and a Wild Salmon Sandwich. All three were excellent. For a small place, and despite lack of dine-in seating, it was amazing. I highly recommend this place if looking for something different in Chippewa.

Yes, that's right I couldn't believe the Burrito Supreme I ordered was made so well. As most people understand food at all fast food places is the same. Whether in Pa. or Calif. if you go in a Taco Bell you can expect the same food. It's the managers, people working and the preparation of the food that makes the difference. Well the person who made my burrito hit it out of the park. First it was chucked full of the meat and veggies. However the impressive part was the sour cream. Everytime I order one I ask for extra sour cream which always is placed at one end of the burrito. This one was made correctly. In each bite I got the sour cream, which is what makes it for me. I know others will disagree, but that's in all things.I also had an orginal pc. of chicken breast which was hot and good. My wife had a Ranch Taco Supreme which she said was very good also. Of course I had to make my enjoyment known to a manager. When I ask one of the employees to get a manager I was greeted by a young lady who was not sure what it was I wanted. The look on her face reported to me she was expecting the worst. After me telling her my comment was good, she smiled and said, "when they were told someone wanted a manager she and another were discussing who was going to see me." I believe she was glad she lost and had to come up front. I also have to say they were extremely busy. Linda noticed when Salina, who was the cashier when we entered, had a lull in the action she was busy taking care of the trash. Good job young lady.Anyways, to close Linda and I left there full and very happy we went in.
