This place is fantastic. My sons love everything; the arcade, the dark ride, the outside rides, the go-kart track, the mini golf, “shopping” for their prizes, Ballocity...when I say they love everything, I mean it! The food is good, the restrooms are always clean which I really really appreciate, and the staff is friendly. I have nothing bad to say about Fun Fore All. My husband and I enjoy it just as much as the kids! Check out their seasonal events too, like Halloween mini golf. For what you get at this place, the prices can’t be beat. We have to drive 40 minutes to get to Fun Fore All and we don’t mind, it’s that good!

McCarl Industrial and Agricultural Museum of Beaver County

Reviewed By Ted S - Dagsboro, Delaware

Darlington is a small town in Beaver County, PA, one of those places that if you blink you missed it so the presence here of a nineteenth century technology museum is more than unexpected. Located in a nice, new, spacious building you will find a wide variety of steam and gasoline engines that powered the industrial revolution. Beaver County was well represented with companies that manufactured all sorts of machinery to power oil drilling, farming, metal making, and just about anything needed to develop the fast growing economy after the civil war. The best time to visit is when they hold an open house and you can ask questions of the knowledgeable collectors who hang around and "chew the fat". Kids like to get their hands on the equipment so keep a sharp eye on them. Early glass and glass making devices are also to be found. Although no fee is collected a donation would be welcome.

Air Heritage Museum

Located at Beaver County Airport, Chippewa, PA. 40 minutes west of downtown Pittsburgh. NO ADMISSION CHARGE!!! They only ask for donations to help support the aircraft restorations at the museum! There is a great museum display area full of historical artifacts - they even have a WWII Norden Bombsight on display. Guided tours, free of charge, are available most days. Available for tour inside the restoration hanger are a Spitfire, T-28, Fairchild, Funk, T-34, and a C-47 or C-123. Outside you will find an F-15, F-4, OV-1, L-21, and others! Wow.... for only the cost of a donation!!! Hard to complain about that....

There is also a nice restaurant at the airport terminal with reasonably priced food and a great view of the runway. We made a day of it.

Kelly's An Irish Pub - A Caribbean Islan

Reviewed By JUDY W - PITTSBURGH, PA

The summer Caribbean Island is nice ambiance but the food and drinks are lacking. The drinks are watered down. The food is mediocre to bad. The fries are cold and greasy. It's too bad that they spend all that money to haul in sand and palm trees and skimp on the food. I suggest they quit watering the drinks and get a real chef who can produce good food.

Phil's Bar and Grill

Reviewed By Cynthia M - Bowling Green, Ohio

On my way home from Pittsburgh, I turned off the toll road and stopped at a gas station to ask for a good place for breakfast. The young man there gave me directions to Phil's, an old neighborhood bar. Don't let the aging outside fool you...this place is a five star breakfast diner, with friendly people, fast service and an outstanding breakfast. I had hot tea, eggs, home fries, bacon, and two huge pieces of Italian toast for less than $5. There is also a bar, with regulars coming in to talk and have a beer. It's obvious the owners treat everyone with respect and friendship, regulars or visitors. They also stock a frig with Iron City beer and a variety of others for take home.

It's okay- the candy is delicious BUT it is very expensive. The staff could be friendlier. I would recommend this to those not on a budget looking for good chocolate.

Feed Your Need For Speed – Whether It’s Karting, Racing, Autocross, Training, And More — Whether You’re A Spectator Relaxing At Our Event Center Or In The Driver’s Seat — Pittsburgh International Race Complex Is Your Destination For Non-stop Fun.

Reviewed By wamrazing - Elyria, Ohio

We were at PIRC for the PVGP event this past weekend and have to give the track high marks for what they have created there. The track itself is very interesting and there are lots of places where spectators can go to watch the races from, which isn't always the case. The food, particularly the BBQ, available at the track was very good...again, not always the case at other places. The paddock has lots of room, though it would be nice if they had more electrical outlets available. Overall, this is a nice place for drivers to come with very good facilities.
Additionally, there is an excellent karting track on site which had one of the nicest and longest tracks I've seen, even at stand alone locations. We had an impromtu championship with some paddock neighbors which was a lot of fun.
The only thing keeping this place from the highest rating was the Steel Cities group running the event. Inept would be too high praise for them. Understood that this was not a function of the track ownership, but still it really let the air out of what was otherwise a terrific first time experience for us.

Merrick Art Gallery

Reviewed By burrdjd - Pittsburgh

A little known treasure of art assembled by industrialist Edward Dempster Merrick in 1880 is found in the river town of New Brighton, PA. We spent a wonderful day looking at a surprisingly large assembly of oil paintings. Open to the public and with no admission charge, it is definitely worth a visit. It was suggested to check ahead since sometimes special events are held in the gallery. A quick google search will tell you if it is open. Consisting of three large galleries with each painting's name and artist listed by its respective painting. It turned out to be an art gem, found very close to our home in Pittsburgh.

Greersburg Academy

Reviewed By Ted S - Dagsboro, Delaware

This used to be a school back in 1802 where William McGuffey of the famous McGuffy readers went to school. Apparently John Brown attended here also. The rooms are now museums with a variety of collections including artifacts from Fort McIntosh, Paleolithic Indians, mid nineteenth century furniture, and remains of the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie railroad. The building once served as a station for the railroad as well as for the underground railroad. Darlington is a small town and one does not expect to see such a fine museum in a tiny village. While here check out the McCarl Industrial and Agricultural museum as well.
