This is our go to local place for coffee, a glass of wine and casual lunch. The La Baule locals hang out here, outdoor tables with stools situated adjacent to the Marche La Baule. The coffee is fantastic and itâs a bustling spot which is great for a glass or wine and light lunch.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences weâve experienced in France.Half the menu was unavailable (All except the most expensive dishes, as if by chance) We had already eaten well earlier and were looking for a light meal to round off a pleasant day. A bowl of soup for â¬12.70 is already tantamount to theft, but when it arrives and is almost empty and only four tiny croutons, then it becomes outrageous. To be told that we only need to ask for more means that clients are knowingly being treated poorly.The decor is classy and i have no reason to doubt the quality of the food, but I resent being ripped off. This is a restaurant to avoid.Sir,Hello,During your dinner on December 25, I came to ensure your satisfaction in person. While you threatened to post a comment on TripAdvisor, at no time did you want to hear my explanations. Indeed, as I told you, we do not serve pizzas, carpaccios and tartars during the end-of-year celebrations. Our menu offers, tonight, a range of entrees between 5 ⬠70 to 18 â¬, dishes between 14 ⬠90 to 29 ⬠and desserts between 7 ⬠60 to 10 â¬. This place is great! Young crowd, young servers all with a great attitude. Food looks good but we only stopped for tea. It's got the best view in La Baule being literally ON the beach.

This is a little restaurant, tucked away in a side street behind the Grand Hotel.. Also quite near the Mercure Majestic, where we were staying.Very French, with lots of local regulars. Also welcoming to us.Beautiful turbot grille (but â¬35) , and lots of choice from a menu du jour @â¬â¬27 and â¬44. We enjoyed the meal enormously. Side dishes of rice and vegetable ratatouille. Chocolate parfait and Iles flottantes with a glass of Muscat de beau de Venise ( not on menu, but patroness clearly had bottles on hand),Lovely little restaurant and very welcoming for non locals. Do not hesitate to go there.

Alors que beaucoup proposent des cartes à rallonge (je me demande comment on peut avoir des cartes de 40 plats avec à la fois fruits de mer, poissons, viandes, burgers et crêpes tous les jours), le bar iodé est un véritablement le seul endroit où on peut manger une cuisine travaillée et savoureuse mettant en avant les produits de la mer et uniquement les produits de la mer.Très belle adresse. Lâéquipe est par ailleurs sympathique et très attentionnée.

Style, quality of food and a nice welcome.Ignore disgruntled reviews, this is a fine carefully crafted restaurant you would expect to find in Sloane Square or Chelsea.I admire the owners in providing high quality Italian food at reasonable prices with a personal service.We will be back with friends. The rather loud and pretentious Maitre d'hotel recommended a couple of dishes but we found the food lacking in seasoning and the partridge was rather tough. The most disappointing dinner of our trip and over-priced.

Coming back time and time again! Les Sablons offer the same great consistent service and food everytime. Wonderful busying atmosphere, helpful and friendly team and the best and freshest seafood and crepes/galettes in la baule. They are always busy for a reason so bookings is necessary but best time is assured!

Excellent food. One of the finest restaurants Iâve visited. Fish and seafood outstanding. Very tasty. The service is very friendly and the Proprietor has excellent choices for you. Iâve been their twice within a few days and will definitely go again.
