Reviewed By greizy14Me and my husband was very disappointed the way the manager approach us about our concern for refund, which is unexpected lockdown in port to batangas. He and his staff was not approachable, attentive and friendly. They are not considerate. Not a good place to stay.. since, the word beachfront, its not much a beach.. you need to book for Island hopping, to Go in beach talaga.. We wasted our time, Going to this resort.

Reviewed By karolj133Amazing place to visit. If you planning a short or long stay it's a must place to visit. You can truly run away from everyday madness and enjoy the place. Located by the ocean close to three main beach resorts in Puerto Galera. Property is really nice with all the basics you need. Staff very friendly and go out of they way to help. They upgraded our room on arrival to make sure we are comfortable. Can't give this place enough praise. Food is really tasty with good selection, including some traditional phillipino cusine.

The Stunning sea view and captivating mountainous landscape is really breath-taking. There is a beautiful botanic garden all around with many colorful and interesting plants, trees and flowers. This garden also attracts the local fauna, birds, gekkos etc. Villa De Pico is elevated with nothing between it and the ocean and those ocean breezes are a refreshing and relaxing addition to your tranquility and "chill-out" retreat
Great resort wigh good views between Puerto Gallera and Sabang
Reviewed By Bah881Stayed in the deluxe twin bungalow for 4 nights in this resort. The rooms are spacious and the bahtroom is clean (though hot water was sometimes missing). Awesome view from the balcony. Breakfast is pretty simple (eggs or pancake), but you can kindly ask for a brewed coffee. They have a good billiard in cafe to play. We kindly asked the management to rent motorbikes and they provided ones for PHP 500 per day. The resort is 3 mins by bike to Puerto Gallera and 15 mins to Sabang area. (The White Beach is 30 mins by bike). The nearby beach has soom good coral but the visibility is a problem. With regards to the service, we were lucky to stay there during the Christmas with the owner's family around. Because of Typhoon our ferry was cancelled so the owner helped us to get to Batangas on time. Futhermore, we were kindly invited for the Christmas lunch which was awesome. Overall, expensive yet a good place to stay. Be ready for great views! P.S. yes, the walls are thin so do not expect the full tranquility at this place.

Beautiful resort on the hill

Overlooking the bay, it is beautifully located above and between Sabang and Puerto Galera. 5 nice Bungalows and 4 smaller rooms. Splendid park and clean freshwater swimming pool. Serving food all day and possibility to cook your foods as well. Clean, spacious rooms and very friendly service.

I had a small vocation for 4 nights only, but fell in love with the atmosphere that Macrica created. Reviewed By CurrukLa ubicación en medio de la nada hace que necesites transporte hasta para ir a comer o cenar. La cama en un dormitorio compartido de 6 personas con ventilador cuesta 650 pesos. Habitación separada solo por unas cortinas de otro dormitorio con aire acondicionado. El baño está dentro del dormitorio, pero solo tiene cortinas, sin puerta. Poca intimidad para un dormitorio compartido. Los colchones son duros como piedras. Por lo demás, está limpio y el jardín es agradable.

Peaceful Retreat on Sabang with a lovely view
Reviewed By biggixerWe stayed for 5 nights at Belleview Cottages and had a very relaxing time. The cottage was basic but functional. It had aircon (which we didn't use) a fan and a fridge and was very clean. There was a good WiFi signal throughout. We had a balcony with a relaxing chair/lounger which was perfect for soaking up the view. The small on-site restaurant served very good food at a reasonable price. The breakfasts were notably good, with coffee available free. The owner, Nellie, is such a lovely person to talk to, making you feel welcomed and at home. Do be aware there is an unavoidable steep flight of steps (over 100 but we didn't count them) to get to the elevated cottages. This may trouble some people. If you want quiet, relaxation, a great view, but close to the hustle and bustle of Sabang we would recommend Belleview. We will definitely return. Jim & Susan

The scuba dive shop offers PADI accredited diving courses conducted by both local and foreign dive instructor and dive masters.

Reviewed By WilliamC3937We stayed here for a week while diving with Frontier Divers. The hotel is generally clean and quiet. It is a short walk from the dive company. The breakfast is uninspired but decent. They do laundry for a reasonable fee. It is close to several good restaurants. It is a good value, though nothing special.

Great summer escapade near Manila
Reviewed By DyRamosGoing to puerto you need to take a ferry in Batangas port that will cost 500each. And for every 4 pax, 1 is free. You need to bring cash with you if you will stay in puerto galera as ATM can only be found in the city proper (landbank, BPI and UCPB) but in bayan you can also see Andok's (all time favorite grilled chicken). In the beach side there a lot of restaurants that will surely cater your cravings. Boodle fight cost 1200. You can also get a massage in the beavh side itself!!! Every friday there is a fire dance show fronting different restaurants. You can also have different activities in puerto galera including kayak, island hopping, snorkling and more but make sure to bring cash with you.
