Tukuran Falls

Reviewed By Jo-Jede - Singapore, Singapore

Stay at big Laguna so it’s 1 hr by road, took a jeepney (2500 peso ) which is the cheapest for big families. then had a trill on the carabao ride to the waterfall , absolutely worth it (about 20mins ) . Had pre pack food for the trip to the waterfall by a local villager for 3400 peso with chicken , huge shrimp n fish n papaya . Was even able to share with the locals who were hungry . Water was clean n there wasn’t any crowd . No rush for time but the locals follow us everywhere n was really asking for tips for whatever services they could render. Feel free to give .

This was a superb beach indeed. My wife and I spent an idyllic afternoon here and luxuriated deeply. It was the perfect place to catch a few rays and relax to the maximum extent.

Talipanan Falls

Reviewed By Eric-F-Jordan - Victoria, Canada

Excellent hike and a nice place for a cooling swim when you get to the Falls. It gets flooded from time to time and it can be destroyed. They always fix it but you need to ask the locals if all is well before hiking up there.

Tamaraw Waterfalls

Reviewed By kunopaulus - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

The waterfall is directly located at the street, so easy access and no walking needed. There is space for stopping your bike or car, a pool (little fee) as well as souvenir and coconut stall. The view is really beautiful and easy for taking pictures. The one store sells delicious local wild bee honey ????

Sabang

Reviewed By ronh582 - Cheltenham, United Kingdom

This place has a strange charm to me but it is not right for everyone. On the surface it is a strange place but when you know the place better a lot of people love it. It is definitely the Philippines and anyone who wants an international resort will be disappointed although there are a few resorts here. This is more small hotels restaurants and bars and a great place to chill out. It is not expansive if you book locally but some people booking on line will pay much more than they need to and not find it cheap. this is not a place for children as the beach is not good but you can walk to Big LaLaguna beach which is reasonable but difficult to swim if the tide is out because of the coral is close to the surface. There is a very good choice of dive shops for people wanting to learn and many are owned or managed by expats from a great variety of countries. I would very strongly advise anyone coming to Sabang to get a place with a good balcony unless they are staying in a place with a pool as there are not so many public places to sit outside except the beach and some benches on the seafront which although is getting better is not great. They are at present installing a new sewer system (septic tanks used at present) and this should make things better for the sea and beach. Motor vehicles are only allowed on the centre road into Sabang and then everything is accessed by foot and tha paths have many different levels and pipes running across them so I would not recommend this for less mobile people.

White Beach

Reviewed By smurphetteee - Singapore, Singapore

White Beach is clean with fine white sand. There are plenty of resorts around the area - but highly recommended for you to stay at Summer Connection Beach Resort because of the great service and clean spacious rooms! There are plenty of beach vendors selling souvenirs, chicharron, balut, taho (my favourite, I can eat about 3 of them in one go!) that make their rounds throughout the day. There are plenty of 'titas' who also offer back massages and hair braiding if you are interested. It is THE happening place to be especially over the long weekend!
