"Dinner for one", while in Tulsa on business, first meal after nearly a full day's worth of aeroplane food. What a lovely contrast – lipsmacking gyoza for starters, and then a combination of sahimi and nigiri for the main event. I can't promise that the sushi is as fresh as you might find in the Tokyo fish market, but it's pretty darn good given we are in Oklahoma! Service is very attentive and responsive. The menu options aren't strictly limited to Japanese with quite a few fusion and hybrid selections available. First time I've seen Phad Thai in a Japanese restaurant, but it all works. The restaurant itself is open, airy and spacious with a contemporary, industrial ambience. Good value for money, though my one suggestion would be to offer a combined sushi & sashimi/nigiri menu option to avoid having to order these dishes separately.

I love going to lunch here! The lunch specials are awesome. They all come with a generous salad and miso soup. For $9 you can get shrimp and vegetable tempura (L6). My favorite is L2 with 2 salmon sashimi, 2 white tuna sashimi, 4 pieces of nigiri, and 6 avocado sushi. Needless to say, you will be filled!!

My last review was a little over 2 years ago right after the remodel. It was good then, it is great now. My wife and I decided to meet here for lunch today and were seated in the dining room in a comfy booth. We've eaten in the bar area before and both areas are well-planned, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our server was Trent who did an excellent job of being prompt, informative and friendly. I had the Far East Fish and Chips ($14) which comes with fries, sliced veggies and great onion rings. My wife had the Almond Sesame Chicken (small-$10.50). We both had unsweetened iced tea which turned out to be Chinese Mist. It is excellent! This restaurant is very quiet and would be a good special occasion dining event. If anything, what started out as very good 2 years ago has progressed into the great territory. If you are a Sushi lover, there is a wide variety on the menu and a fairly large bar menu. Enjoy!
