Rose Café is not huge, but the outside patio is a great place to sit and dine right on the beach. The menu is small, but everything we've had there has been very good. Worth going, especially for the view, whether eating inside or out.

The Feve

We stopped into The Feve based on the tripadvisor reviews. It was 8:30 p.m. and it was noisy downstairs. Our home brewery has quieter seating upstairs so we asked about moving upstairs and we were told there was seating available. We went upstairs and we sat at a table. We had brought our menus with us. We noticed a waitress serving someone at the other end of the room, though no one came to serve us. After 15 minutes my husband walked up to the bar and the bar tender told him he could order at the bar, but she continued futzing around behind the bar. I have food allergies and we needed help with the menu. He asked if the hamburgers had onion powder and the bartender stated she'd have to check. He remained at the bar. She later advised the hamburger meat already had onion powder mixed in. She went back to futzing behind the bar, never making any suggestions as to what they could prepare that didn't have onions, and by that time I was tired of the lack of service and we left.

The appearance of the interior is outdated. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Service seemed a bit slow at times based on minimal staff and a busy setting. The perch breading was average, nothing out of the ordinary that would make me want to order it again. The fries were thin and nothing more than average. Heartburn ensued after. The Jumbalya tasted good but seemed a bit soupy than what I have experienced in the past. Some work is needed to bring up the quality of the overall experience in this restaurant/bar.

We ate here with friends on a Friday night. When we sat down around 6:45, the restaurant was about 1/2 empty. We were seated promptly, and ordered drinks all around. About 15 minutes after our arrival, 2 other tables were seated in our same area. We waited. And waited. And waited. The 2 other tables ordered. We waited. Finally our order was taken. The food came for the other tables. We waited some more. About 1 1/2 hours after being seated, our food came. It was ok, but not worth the wait. The manager kept coming by to make one excuse after another for the delay. Creative story telling. To compensate, we were offered a free drink, which we were charged for. Fortunately, I caught the charge and it was corrected. $88 for perch (2) dinners a vodka and 2 glasses of wine!!! Never again.

Stopped in for dinner. Great food and service. Our waitress was very nice and quick. The wait was not long at all, like 10 minutes. The manager came by our table, which I think is always nice. The food was great, nice and hot.

Great place! Been there a couple of times and would go again for sure! I like their hamburgers unlike fast food places that taste horrible. I like the free peanuts too to snack on which I though was nice. Great service and great food!

Cole's Public House

I have dined at Cole's Public House many times in the past and usually ordered their pierogi. We met our friends there last night and everyone's entrée was excellent except for mine.I remember the pierogi being larger and very tender. Last night, they were overcooked and dry. I chose to not have the black pepper cream mixed with the pierogi, for I wanted to dip them. Perhaps they would not have been so dry if they were mixed in the cream sauce. My husband had pan roasted salmon in a spicy curry broth which he said was excellent. It is difficult to park near the entrance on busy nights, so be sure to wear your walking shoes. Would I return? Sure, but I would not order the pierogi.

The Brew Kettle

Recently had a meal here with family on a Saturday afternoon. Pretty standard American "pub" fare, but food was very good and menu was pretty diverse with something for just about everyone! App of Spinach Artichoke dip was plentiful for sharing. Fish & Chips were excellent - and the grilled burrito was huge! Lots of craft beer choices for the craft beer lovers - as well as cocktails and wine. Definitely would return!

We were in the area for a track meet and pretty much randomly selected Ziggy's out of the local possibilities. We absolutely loved it! Food was great and service was excellent. Great selection of beverages on tap as well. Sauerkraut Balls appetizer was beyond expectations! We will definitely return!
