My wife and I have been coming to Sommières since 2008 and since last April we spend a lot more time here. Since last June, whenever in Sommières, we spend an evening a week at ALEGRIA Bistro Bodega â we have always been made to feel very welcome. My French can best be described as being âpassableâ. The couple who run the Bodega have always been very helpful. To âMark Pâ who posted an earlier review, I would ask you revisit Alegria and I guarantee you will be welcomed and have a good evening. We enjoy the evenings with live music and the ones without. The atmosphere within the Bodega, feels right! Itâs welcoming, itâs friendly. I like food! I particularly like Tapas, Iâve visited and reviewed other Tapas eateries â this place is good. This is a little wine bar & cafe in the heart of Sommieres. The owner & staff were very friendly & welcoming. The wine, coffee & beer were reasonably priced & excellent. While we stayed in the area they had music one night which was very entertaining. Tapas plates also available, great food.

On July 14th we spent an evening to remember with Paquita, Luc and the gang at PBF. We received the warmest welcome followed by wonderful music, entertainment and atmosphere on the most charming street in Sommieres! We started off with the chef's choice of tapas paired perfectly with local wines. Paquitas' expertise and passion for wine delighted our group of 10.
