We were here for a work visit. We arrived on a late Sunday afternoon. When we visited it was not busy. What we found interesting about this place was the salsa bar. At least that is what we call it. They have a food area where you can go to and dip out whatever type of salsa that you would like to try. That was interesting and enjoyable to us. The food was average Mexican fare. WE found the salsa options to be the most interesting aspect to this eatery. Overall we were not huge fans of this restaurant, but maybe it is us as we note that they are rated fairly highly in the Hickory area.

Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill offers burritos, tacos, nachos, salads, as well as our addictive chips with your choice of salsa, guacamole, or queso. It's all made fresh daily!
Salsarita's is your typical Mexican fast food. The offerings are usually fresh and the service is good. The restaurant offers a bar as well as typical Mexican food offerings. A good and inexpensive place for families with kids. Friendly, clean and not fancy.

I was extremely happy when Chipotle opens. It is one of my favorite places to eat in Texas. I eat here often and love the food.

The food is acceptable. The menu is extensive which is part of the problem. This is the slowest restaurant I have ever eaten at. This is and most always is a management problem. The menu is so big and the kitchen so slow it takes an entire evening to eat hear and I mean 2 hours or more. The only bright sport being our waiter Garrett who tried to make everyone happy even though the kitchen took hours to bring your food. I'm sure he took the majority of the rap even thought he can't control the kitchen. I can only imagine what a good manager could do for this location as it is packed. I think they need to ride up to Texas Roadhouse and see how a restaurant is properly run in a timely manner. I as many don't want to spend 3 hours at Chili's for dinner and probably will never go back.Hi there, we're very sorry to hear this and would love to get in contact with you so we can make sure you have a better experience next time.
