We were surprised when we realized the geography of Grand Island, so while staying at the Radisson, we looked for a restaurant on the island itself. The Village in was a delightful discovery. The menu was diverse. The food was delicious home style cooking and the portions were enormous!We ordered Hot Wings as an appetizer since we were so near Buffalo, primarily to take out for lunch tomorrow. We each sampled one and they were wonderful!! Spicy and tangy with just the right amount of heat at "medium."I ordered one of the daily specials, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. John ordered the chicken Parmesan. Both plates were extremely generous and so very tasty that there was no room in the tank for dessert. Bummer. The double chocolate cake was so tempting at the next table over...

The choices on the menu made it difficult to select my choice for lunch. There are salads, wraps, burgers, etc and then you can also choose breakfast all day.There were lots of interesting items to look at on walls and shelves. The place was spotless and the food was very good, as was the service.

We felt like a sub for lunch and thought we would stop at Dibella's. This was our first visit. The sub was great. The bread was the best. Everything was fresh. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. You can't go wrong. Don't know why we waited so long. We will be going back.
