I liked the ambiance; it was cozy, clean and pleasant. The food was excellent. They had a little of everything on the buffet. Everyone was amicable, professional and pleasant. I was sitting close by to a fountain that made the whole ambiance more relaxing and nice to be in. I will visit this place a lot more often.

This is now our go to, favorite restaurant. You sometimes go into a restaurant for that one particular dish, not here, everything on the menu is incredible. You cannot make a bad choice off the menu. The service is stellar and the atmosphere is on the other side of friendly.

During our Labor Day getaway, Duffs was our second tryout of Buffalo chicken wings (the first one was Anchor Bar for the same day's lunch). We arrived at about 10 PM. Their greeting at the door was done poorly and we actually seated ourselves. There were four tables occupied at the time we sat down. We ordered 10 wings (medium spicy) and pizza logs. The wings came smoky hot in terms of temperature, but their presentation was not quite appealling (black plastic plate and white plastic bucket for bone). As to their wings (compared with Anchor Bar), they were smaller, dryer, much saltier and less spicy. The "medium" spicy definitely didn't match with their description. Our first experience of pizza logs (Italian version of Chinese egg rolls- quite processed with no culinary skills involved) was not impressive, either. Its interior was lack of character and untidy. Their staff started to get ready for closing at 11:10 PM when the closing time was actually midnight. Therefore, Anchor Bar got our votes this time.

After a 45 minute wait in the bar, not too bad though as we were having drinks, we were seated on the patio :) unfortunately, before we were finished with dinner, and before dessert, we were asked to leave... Apparently there is a time limit on the patio? That's silly and very disappointing. I can only think that we were only a party off two and the $ for a larger party at our table would have been better for the business? Perhaps that also explains our server, Shelby's bad attitude. SMH, where died customer service go?

We were surprised when we realized the geography of Grand Island, so while staying at the Radisson, we looked for a restaurant on the island itself. The Village in was a delightful discovery. The menu was diverse. The food was delicious home style cooking and the portions were enormous!We ordered Hot Wings as an appetizer since we were so near Buffalo, primarily to take out for lunch tomorrow. We each sampled one and they were wonderful!! Spicy and tangy with just the right amount of heat at "medium."I ordered one of the daily specials, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. John ordered the chicken Parmesan. Both plates were extremely generous and so very tasty that there was no room in the tank for dessert. Bummer. The double chocolate cake was so tempting at the next table over...

Excellent location right on the Niagara Falls Blvd strip. It's a family roadhouse with large portions on the plate and may leaving boxed lunches for later. The menu selection has variety: chicken, burgers/sandwiches comfort foods and healthy choices.Service was fast, friendly from Sydney Z and made our evening. Lots of TV's for sports events, atmosphere is causal western in theme i. I'd go back again anytime.Don L- Thank you for the kind words and wonderful rating. The Hideaway is a great place to go for Happy Hour and Dinner. The bartenders and wait staff are all friendly and the prices reasonable. It is a nice comfortable atmosphere with delicious food. We love their Friday Fish Fry specials, they have different choices and prices along with plenty of other dinner selections. Thy food is plentiful and always hot. We keep coming back because it a great place to go.Thank you so much for the wonderful review. Went for the first time for my daughter in laws birthday. She loves seafood We tried so many appetizers, all which were great that we ended up taking a lot of our main entree home! Everything was fabulous ! We will definitely be back!
