This place has a super fun vibe, and a great happy hour. We went there after a Long Beach day to sip on some chilled wine, and take in the cool atmosphere. Highly recommend as a place to grab a drink, especially 4-6pm.Hiya Rach! Sounds like you had the perfect day in the bay with a splash of sun, salt and sand topped off with some chilled wine! Whether you are vegan, vegetarian or a die hard carnivore (pun intended), the offerings here will satisfy the most discerning palates and ravenous appetites. Brilliant flavour combinations, cooked to perfection. We chose a number of entrees this time and the orange sesame cauliflower nibbles were the stand-out. Slightly crunchy, slightly tender, ever so lightly battered that you hardly knew they were, but a perfect amount to hold the orange sauce. On previous occasion I had jackfruit which was a total surprise and a fitting substitute for those hunting for a piece of meat! Next time Iâll be trying the Jackfruit Curry! To cap it off, all food is gluten free, so Coeliacs can feel safe. Our waitress was very welcoming and when she noticed we had s small dog with us, she offered him a bowl of water.Such a lovely review! We're so glad you AND your pup loved the service and that your meals were amazing! See you again soon John

Opposite the beach the Green Room is a reasonably new addition to the the Beach Hotel. The cold cuts charcuterie board with pickled vegetables was amazingly delicious especially when served with hot fresh damper. The cured meats are sourced locally which is a bonus to me. $12 cocktail hour runs from 4-6pm and offers a reasonable selection. The mulled wine was especially yummmmm. We enjoyed a tasting paddle before the happy hour.We also ordered some chips & loaded fries. We got the vegan fries which comes with jackfruit for something different.The staff are super lovely.All the beers are delicious and its worth getting a tasting paddle so you can sample a selection.

We visited Bungalow on a Sunday in March. We loved this place and decided to stay for lunch. Were really disappointed about our lunch experience at Bungalow Pub. The place was really busy, and we didn't have reservations. We didn't mind the 1/2 hour wait for a table, we just grabbed a drink in the bar.When they came to take us to our table then just then told us that the wait for food was 45 minutes minimum. Wished they would have told us when we first put in our name for a table. The food took over an hour, and there really wasn't any apology or sympathy for our wait. (and one item was a salad!) If the food had been over the top good we wouldn't have let it spoil our day, but it was only mediocre as well. Unfortunately won't be back.
