For 30 years this has been one of the biggest and best markets in Australia. In the middle of the village of Bangalow in the Showground once a month the market brings hundreds of stallholders together to provide a feast for the all of your senses. Food, craft, art, clothes... performers world class buskers and music.
Busy market as we were there the Sunday before Christmas, still easy to traverse. Parking managed well and minimal walking to markets if uneven ground and on a slope. Fantastic selection of stalls. Some hippy, many artistic, some beautiful quality. Something for everyone! Great variety of stalls. Great amount of food options available. Awesome coffee and great cold options! Highly recommend!

Hammer & Hand have moved to Bangalow from the Byron Industrial Estate! Hammer and Hand is a collective of passionate artists who work with metal. You will find an eclectic range of handmade and individually designed jewellery, sculpture and stainless steel utensils such as cake servers, salad servers, ladles and spoons. The gallery is a working studio and so during opening hours (10am - 4pm 7 days a week) there will always be a practising artist at work at the bench. You can book a jewellery making lesson or workshop with some of our members. We look forward to meeting you on your next visit to the Byron Shire.
David Collins is an artist. His beautiful hand-made jewellery pieces are testament to not only his skill but also to his undeniable creative vision. They will become that special piece that will be passed down through generation and the best part of that is that it all starts with you from the very moment you walk into David’s shop at Lismore Road, Bangalow.
Visit the stunning gallery of world famous artist Concetta Antico - "The Color Queen." Scientifically endorsed as a tetrachromat, her 4th color receptor allows her to see 100 million more colors than the average person, resulting in a symphony of shades, textures and contrasts on the canvas. Behold the true colors of our world through her magnificent & highly collectible oil on canvas masterpieces! The gallery also showcases the work of emerging Byron Bay and Northern Rivers artists and craftsmen. Private viewings available on request.
