We hit here our first evening in Raton for a quick meal with friends. Our server was friendly and efficient. Wings were delicious - spicy Asian lemon pepper, and cranberry chipotle with wine and beer, followed by cannoli and a cookie sundae. All excellent. Nice environment - we hsd a table by the window. Mostly locals. Totally deserves its rating as tge best in Raton - and beyond!Thank you so much for your exceptionally kind and detailed review, we are thrilled to have pleased you with the food and service at Bruno's! We hope you are able to stop in again when in the area!

Had the excellent fish and chips, I substituted fried okra for the fries to make a healthy option. The fish came straight from the fryer, the chicken fried steak looked good. Service was fast and friendly. Nice clean atmosphere. We ate the breakfast buffet in the morning, nice hardly eating.

Thought I'd give them a try and found it to be pleasant. Not loud, good service, clean and easy to locate. Had the pulled pork stuffed bake potato and husband had the chopped brisket. Now comes the issue of poor seasoning. My pork was moist but lacked seasoning or even any smoke flavor if it was smoked. Husband's brisket was the same. My potato was hot,had a small amount of pork for the price. All in all, it was an ok meal.

Fantastic beer, great servers, and a casual atmosphere in an authentic Western location. What more could one ask for? The best venue for bands too, with both local musicians and pass-through bands. It's a bit of a misconception to rate the Colfax Ale Cellar as a restaurant though. But you won't go hungry; Bruno's Pizza and Wings is just around the corner and will gladly deliver.

Raton has a surprising amount of really good restaurants for a town its size. We had heard that The Icehouse had reopened under new owners and were happy we had dinner there. The menu is varied with lots of selections. I loved the brisket but others raved about the ribs. Portions and sides were generous. An assorted six pack of bbq sauces are on the table, all good. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient.
