Reviewed By 575nicspI booked the package through abhivadan expedition holidays Pvt Ltd. The agents from abhivadan are not supportive and thrive for money. They never see comfort of the travellers. I highly recommend travellers not to go with this agent. About hotel, the staff were saying something and do something different. The food was also not good enough. After checking out from the hotel, I tried to contact them for some queries but they didn’t responded. I do not recommend travellers to visit chitwan as it’s waste of time to go for “jungle safari” as you only can see deers and sometimes rhinos. The better to visit Kaziranga national park in India for tigers and rhinos and many other wild animals. There is nothing else in chitwan. The village site seeing is the worst as even any guide don’t know properly anything and the people in the village are much modern now. About the agent from abhivadan, I just fed up with them.

Reviewed By Tarun VPeaceful and green resort surrounded by beautiful paddy fields. Mr Rajendra , Mr. Basu and other staff were very friendly and hospitable. The owner( Mr Rajendra) arranged all the transport, jungle safari and other activities smoothly. The restaurant provided excellent hot food. The resort has 24/7 running hot water. The bathrooms were clean. Good place to relax away from the noise of the city.

Traditional Homes- Swotha is a beautiful Boutique Bed and Breakfast nested in the heart of Patan Historical center, a few meters away from the magical Durbar Square. 5 intimate and spacious rooms with attached bathroom and an Attic Suite room. The furnishing is cosy though minimalist (iron and wood mainly) but very comfortable ( antique chair, cotton linen sheets, wool and hemp carpet, quality mattress, gas heater, hot shower, hand made soap, cotton curtains, selection of books in each rooms and powerful wifi!) to which you add a beautiful roof terrace, a wooden balcony for each room, a small garden and a nice restaurant serving fresh and organic food.

Reviewed By teckeongLocated right within Patan, Traditional Homes Swotha is an excellent place to stay. As mentioned by others, it is located within walking distance to Patan Durbar Square. The staff was extremely helpful in helping us to arrange for a driver to bring us around Kathmandu, and extending our checkout time until we were ready to leave for the airport in the late evening. The room was spacious and clean, with hot water for shower (very important during winter). It would be nice if the room had a heater as well. Nevertheless, the bed had an electric blanket, which was extremely helpful for us who hail from sunny Singapore.

Very old but well-maintained building with Newari architecture all over the corner. The room was nice with enough amenities with archaic looks. The food was good enough but the menu didn't offer authentic Newari dishes. Being a cultural hotel they should have maintained the menu. Service was slow but it was acceptable. The next day we left early in the morning so missed breakfast. I would definitely visit the hotel and stay for multiple days.

As soon as I arrived I was greeted with the staff's smiling faces. I was taken to the dinning room to relax and get something to drink. From that moment the staff was very attentive, responsive, and kind. The room was extremely clean and the air conditioner worked great. This is important due to the high temperatures in Lumbini. Each morning I was amazed and filled with joy as to the variety and sounds of all the birds in the resort's peaceful courtyard. The only thing better than the birds singing in the morning, was the quality of the food. WOW!! Everything was delicious. I decided to take a Tuk Tuk each way to Maya Devi Temple and the resort was happy to call for one every time. I did not want to walk the distance to the sacred garden grounds in the Lumbini heat. Overall I had a fantastic experience at the Lumbini Buddha Garden Resort.

Perfect little hotel in Thamel
Reviewed By Biswa MI stayed in Lemon Tree hotel in Paknajol, Thamel (not associated with the famous hotel chain of the same name) for 3 nights in June 2022. I booked a deluxe single room via MakeMyTrip. The room was small but perfect. It had everything one would need including wifi, hot shower, a spacious closet, neat and clean bedsheets and towels etc. Housekeeping came to the room daily to clean the bathroom and make the bed. They even replaced the perishable items like mineral water and bath soap. The hotel is situated in the tourist hotspot of Thamel but still a little distance away from the busy chaotic area near Narsing Chowk. No bars with loud music or dance clubs nearby. You can get a good night's sleep after a tiring day. Last but not the least, the staff were always polite and helpful - even while I woke them up in the middle of the night to open the gate. With discount the price of the room was less than 1000 INR a day, so it was complete value for money for me.
