The food is really good, we enjoyed a lot the restaurant and the breakfast is also very nice. The room is new, comfortable and nice, good view, we stayed in the standard which is on the building still under construction so the noise starts very early. Disliked · The standard room is very nice but in the middle of the construction, so the noise starts very early and at night it is a bit dark to get there. Everything else is good. OH, the red wine - they only have sweet :)

Reviewed By pdmancsI stayed overnight at Gorkha Gaun in the recommendation of the owner of a previous place I’d stayed in. It’s a few km from the centre of Gorkha, which was fine for me. The hotel organised a cab into town. From there I was happy to explore and make my own way back. The room was comfortable, with the largest bed I’ve ever seen in my life! A terrace and a comfy chair to sit outside would be a good idea though. No air con - just a fan. This was ok as the room didn’t get too hot. Bathroom worked well. Nice shower. Wi-Fi so-so. Not too bad. It’s hard to give an accurate review, as I was the only person staying there. It felt eerily silent, and I didn’t really like being the sole focus of attention. Clearly with a few guests and a bit of a buzz around the place, things would feel very different. But the staff were friendly, the food was good, and I enjoyed sitting out with a beer after my hike. I hope things pick up for them soon.

Reviewed By costalplusbooksThis place was the perfect place to get away from the popular lakeside, it gave us peace and quiet, grassy areas to lay down and read books in the sun and have a laugh with other guests, up on the roof top. You can find books on arrival if you have decided to travel light, Hemant is there for all your local knowledge, Hikes and activity master. He gives great recommendations for dinner and the best place to grab a great!! coffee. The lake side of Pokarah has everything from western prices to local Nepal prices.. its a matter of finding the gems between the rocks. .. Hemant was a guide to the gems for sure. The guest house has options of fresh juice and breakfast, all hours of the day - a very decent banana porridge i must say, at only 200 rupee ,( lake side you will find for much higher and smaller portions ). Music was enjoyed in the mornings, playing from the front of the guest house. This wouldn't disturb the rooms at all , yet created an encouraging vibe for new and long stayers to meet and greet. We also got the option to choose our own music if we wanted. The rooms are big with fans. The back rooms we found were quite damp, so the fan helped with that. The showers are hot and extra blankets are not a problem. Also toilet paper is not a problem, which after being in Nepal for 1 month, this is a bliss if you find a toilet that holds this luxury. Cottage comes with drinking water to refill bottles at 10 rupee per liter. Between playing guitar with the hemants family, enjoying the views of the mountains on the roof top and the sunshine from 10-4, we found this the best pace to relax after our hikes. we choose to extend our stay twice over before the flight back home dragged us to get away from bliss and step back into reality. Come as a guest, leave as a friend :) the perfect motto for our new friends at Nepali Cottage Guest House.

They helped us book everything from jungle safaris to the taxi services. They are little cottages to stay in so it felt like you had your own little apartment. No need to worry about noise from your neighbors. Beds were comfortable and showers that had hot water. Televisions with cable and WIFI was strong. Will be returning in near future.

It's a resort close to Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve , one of suitable choice to hangout for the nature lovers. One can enjoy the greenary and its a good place to relax. The closely located Reserve is a great hub for wildlife especially the largest herd of swamp deer in the world itself. We arrange Jeep Safari to the Reserve, Local village tour and Sunset from Suspension Bridge which lies around 4km from the resort. Similarly we arrange tour packages to destinations of Farwest Nepal such as Khaptad National Park.

Reviewed By DouglasM32It is near the Shuklaphanta game preserve. A nice camping style experience. Food is good. Bathroom facilities are typical for Nepal and India. Occasional hot water in the “shower”. Beware of the geese. Staff is very friendly.

Very very clean, comfortable bed, Ac and fan, beautiful interior design and birds chirping outside the window A great garden between the rooms. Staff very helpful and the place has super fine food. We were surprised there were no reviews, this is because it is a new hotel. We Really recommend!

Reviewed By hebaB1We held our yoga retreat at EK cottages . Everyone loved how gorgeous and cosy this place is . We got 5 star service from the kitchen staff. Rooms neat and clean. Very affordable . And owners were extremely welcoming and caring. Definitely nice place to hold a retreat or stay away from the city hustle and bustle.

Reviewed By S Wポカラから車で３５ドル、山小屋の家１５０ドル位。ネパール人の月平均収入１５０ドル。この山小屋はRusticです。お世辞にもluxuryとかシックとは思えません。眺めは晴れていればAnnapurna rangeが展望できますがお天気次第で、見えればLuckyでmillion dollar view。田舎育ちの私に農村の生活は大して珍しくもありませんでした。もしあなたが全ての意味において昭和初期の日本の山村がお好きならこの宿をお勧めします。

The environment and services are all the best. 1.location It’s super close to everything, the airport, the Main Street. 2. The host and staff The host is super helpful about everything, she would book anything for you if you ask. Massage, taxis, paragliding, watching sunrise, restaurants … always ask her for recommendations! She has been in Pokhara for so long and she always can find u the cheap price and the best deal. the massage place she found me even gave me a 20% discount. Also you can just hand your clothes to the staff for laundry service and it will get back to you in one day (paid service tho). The staff always smile and give you as much help as they can. 3. The environment It’s a quiet place with a lovely garden and a cute puppy. The breakfast everyday is so great and unique that u can’t find anything anywhere comparable to this one. The room is sooo beautiful and comfortable. You can see the snow mountains directly from your window in summer.
