Ãber Mittag wird ein kostengünstiges Mitagsmenü serviert.Dabei braucht man nicht allzu viel Zeit zu investieren, der Service ist gut und die Küche schnell!Abends sind aus der Karte besonders das Cordon-Bleu und und die feinen Poulet-Flügeli zu empfehlen.Letztere sind besonders gut gewürzt.Am Stammtisch ist immer etwas los und die vielen Stammgäste heissen jeden herzlich willkommen.

We were here for dinner, just dropped in on the way to the lake front.Both of us liked the okd-fashionen atmosphere. Very nicely decorated and clean.The menu was large and contained mostly traditional food, including some fish dishes with local fish and a couple of Indian dishes. We both really liked our meals (fish and Indian curry, which was more like a Biryani, but very tasty).The service was very friendly and helpful.

we had a meeting at this hotel, the facilities were okay, the food was great, but the whole property needs a mojor facelift, it is overrated as a 4 star hotel. it has a great location just next to the bodensee but this hotel is close to bankruptcy. they need an investor with handful of experience in the hotel industry plus a team of marketing experts.

Ein visuell und geschmacksmässig überzeugendes Salat- und weitere Speisen-Buffet, ausgezeichnete Pizza! Wir waren eine recht grosse Gruppe, und für die hat's im hinteren Teil den perfekten langen Tisch. Freundlich wurde uns erklärt, dass sie am nächsten Tag froh um eine Reservation seien, wegen Umfang und Frische der bereitgestellten Speisen für das Buffet. Sehr nette Bedienung, und eben: die Pizza soll ausgezeichnet sein, wie mir nachbarlich zu beiden Seiten bestätigt wurde, und erst noch grosszügige Portionen!

Anlässlich einer Weihnachtsfeier erstmals dieses Restaurant besucht. Die Lokalität hat uns sehr gut gefallen, mit Stil und aufmerksamen Servicekräften. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und es gab keinen Anlass für Beanstandungen. Gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful sunday-lunch at the Seelust - the second for me this year. The seasoning of the sauces is excellent and the meat as well as the fish is prepared in an excellent way. Nice salades and desserts and a very good selection of wine. The somelier, Mr. Klarer, recommended us the perfect wine for our lunch consisting of meat and fish. To eat outside in the garden under the trees is just marvelous. Very friendly and well trained staff!

Tucked between the train station and the ferry pier, Hafen could have ended as souless burger joint. On the contrary: Hafen is a perfect stop for a nice and relaxed meal - even when "en route" through Romanshorn.As the name implies ("Port"), the restaurant boasts a bright and airy maritime feeling with lots of space between the tables. The terrace proves very popular, therefore advance booking recommended.A huge thumbs-up to the service team - efficient andgenuinely friendly.The food is Swiss traditional. The food was nice and hearty, but not exceptional. As starter I chose a minestrone - nothing to write home about. This was followed by a "Geschnetzeltes" - diced beef in a rich sauce, served with sauteed potatoes. Tasty, but the portion could have been more generous. A strawberry ice cream coupe was perfect for a summer evening.Though not cheap, prices were rather low for Swiss standards.

This is a pleasant place with a menu full of typical Viennese coffee drinks. The friendly Austrian owner/waitress patiently explained the Swiss equivalent of each drink, probably not for the first time. They serve cakes and pastries just as one would find in a Viennese coffee house. The interiors are light and airy and there is a courtyard with garden chairs and tables.If I lived nearby I would come here regularly.Thank you so much for this lovely comment!

When you're in such a small town like Romanshorn you thank god there are places like this for a good quality domestic meal. Rösti is great as well as fish from the lake across the street, fresh. Steaks are a bit pricey but sure delicious, they got great beer and good service. For sure we'll come here again.
