Met friends here for dinner last night and was pleasantly surprised. For the price, especially with senior discount, it was quite a deal. They had all your normal Asian buffet items, not the best, I must say, but good quality. I liked the fried chicken wings the best. Their sushi was OK and no sashimi even at dinner. The sauteed shrimps was also good. I will have to try their BBQ station next time. Not the best Asian buffet but for the price...it was good. We had been here several times when it was Komi but stopped coming when it went downhill. We may come more often with that price range.

My son wanted sushi and needed a place that is kid friendly. We stumbled upon Misong Sushi Bar in Rowland Heights, CA and so glad we did. The sushi bar is located inside a big plaza, not a big restaurant but it’s a good enough. I believe it’s a Korean Sushi Bar but it doesn’t really matter. The foods were delicious and service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive from the moment we walked in. She gave us time to review the menu, offered drinks, and then came back with recommendations. Our lunch portions were like dinner portions us. The meals came with side dishes and miso soups. They have a great daily lunch menu with starting price at $5.95. We were recommended Baked Lobster Roll and boy, it was delicious. It took about 15mins to make but worth the wait. It was fresh and still hot when service. My son ordered Crunch Rolls and Dragon Rolls, he still talks about how tasty they were. The sashimi on the Chirashi Bowl were all so fresh. Lastly, you get free ice cream after your meal. So glad we found Misong. We definitely return to try the Sashami Platter soon.

If you drive down to Gale Ave, there are lots of choices where to eat. I chose this by luck only because of their very graphic menu outside. As I entered, the ambiance was nice for a small restaurant. The menus are high tech, large, pinned on the wall with different sizes of monitor screen. The food they serve are displayed in a clear refrigerated area where they prepare the food. The servers are energetic and friendly. I chose the rainbow meal and it came with miso soup. It was delicious. I came to town for a brief visit for work.

This is my third visit to Los Angeles area in the last 2 years. After eating at other Japanese restaurants, I still came back here for my uni and sashimi fix. They give you such large portion of sashimi compared to other restaurant and the uni comes out in the shells - fresh as it can be. In addition to the dishes you order, they also give you many side dishes for free. The seafood cone is really good also. We just love the food and the service here. This is going to be my go to restaurant overtime I visit LA.

Had a wonderful dinner in this gourmet Chinese seafood restaurant! Setting is beautiful and nicely decorated and quiet. We ordered house special lobster, fried with spicy garlic! Our favorite dish and the most expensive, at$26.00 per pound!!We started with soft shell crabs as an appetizer which were lightly battered and very fresh! The green beans were fixed to perfection and delicious! We also ordered squab, which came Hong Kong style, very succulent and moist!! $19.00 for two..The filet was excellent quality as well, but also very pricy!!Quantity was as expected for the price. We would return and expect to pay a premium for our meal! Wish they had a special or loss leader so there was some way to go back more often!!
