We had had an extremely busy day, and went to Dakotaâs for dinner and to unwind. We had the crab cakes for an appetizer, the wedge salad, bone-in ribeye and filet and scalloped potatoes. Every item was seasoned well, the steaks were tender and tasty, and our server took great care of us. This is what we look for in a steakhouse. Highly recommend.

Came here for a business dinner. Had the bacon wrapped filet mignon topped with shrimp. Excellent! Also enjoyed the asparagus as a side. The servers were friendly. I was slightly disappointed with the craft beer selection, though they made an excellent gin and tonic.

Went there for lunch with a co-worker on Wednesday. Food is great and there are so many choices. Lunch specials are below $10. I got the Beef Bul-go-gi and enjoyed it very much. I love the little side dishes that comes with the entrée. Good eating!

My husband and I had lunch here with our dear friends who live in Dallas. We had a wonderful experience, both in service/atmosphere as well as our food. We started off with the calamari appetizer, which was delicious. Then I had the beef tenderloin tacos, which were also excellent. My husband enjoyed the rigatoni. We even had dessert, which we almost never do. It was also great. The wine list is also very good.

The restaurant has a great Texas ambiance-setting. The waitstaff are very attentive and knowledgeable. Great service while we were there. The chopped filet does leave a little to be desired. A little clarification on what it actually is (burger) and it may not have been so disappointing. I would go back for a true filet as the neighboring table had them and they looked great.Thank you for your review. Definitely a great place to take your Honey. Food was excellent. Waiter Andreas was very knowledgeable and efficient. Get there early because parking is limited. Valet parking takes up most of the space, but not enough Valetâs to park your car. Location is great for walking around and close to all the Addison hotels.

We really like Trulucks as the menu has great balance. Had some friends in and went again. Food as always was excellent. The Sonoma salad is a must have as are the has browned potatoes. The few disappointments were in my steak came out raw when asked for Med Rare, and they ran out of the special (at 6:30pm on a Sunday night). Waiter told us we took too long to order. REALLY! It was 6:30 and no advanced notice on short supply. That was disappointing, but it didn't take too much away from the food taste. They fixed the steak spot on, but my wife had to switch to the tuna and that was fairly average.

We recently dined here after a play in Dallas. Service was very attentive and the food was very good. Portions were quite plentiful and we had food to take home.The cocktail and wine list was very mice. The bread basket and flavored butter was very good. All the soups (French Onion, clam chowder, and lobster bisque) were delicious. The shrimp cocktail consisted of several huge shrimp. The lobster & crab cake appetizer was very tasty and had a side or corn relish. The ribeye steak, tuna tartare, and scallops were all excellent entree choices. The warm chocolate cake and coconut pie were most enjoyable desserts.Our meal was very good - very expensive - but enjoyable. I am not certain that the cost of the meal is warranted, but we did enjoy it. This is a great restaurant for special occasions.
