Perfect for lunch and dinner for couples and friends. Ideal for parties too. The food is excellent prepared with fresh meat, fish and vegetables. The service is professional and friendly. The value for money is very fair.

I loved this place so much that i went there every day. It is a great Tapas Bar to socialise, especially as a solo traveller. The food is tasty & the wine good, everything reasonably priced. The staff are friendly & the atmosphere brilliant. Tasca Alvasca is the best place in Los Cancajos!

Me and my husband ordered grilled chicken and we got two pieces og charcoal. A bit inside was eatable, meaning very dry without any flavor. We complained an was met by an angry chef who literally threw us out of the restaurant, schouting at us down the road. Very unpleasant and frightning experience.hello good night the first thing you can say what you do on request two grilled chickens that were not carbonized and they were not dry that if they taste when we ask with much education that such the chicken you said this taba well that if a bit the pil cap and because of the bone of the bottom and we told him that if we flipped it you said that it was not eaten all the potato chips the salad the chicken and when he asked for the account said that not payable the chicken that was black after eating the waiter of addiction who has to pay you that you would not pay it then the cheff came out and I tell him that he had a hard face and then they did not pay for the drink and the street said he had a lot of face I do not insult him just that they had a lot of face and when a dish is not well is returned and not eat to not pay it but detoas malenras I want to apologize I'm sorry I'm sorryhola buenas noches lo primero que ustedes pueden opinar lo que desen ustedes a pedido dos pollos a la brasa que no estaban carbonisado y que no estaban secos que si tienen sabor cuando le preguntamos con mucha educacion que tal el pollo ustedes dijieron esta taba bien que si un poco la pil cedadita y por el hueso de la parte de abajo y le emos dicho que si se lo cambaimos ustdes an dicho que no se lo an comido todo las papas fritas la ensalada el pollo y cuando fueroa a pedir la cuenta an dicho que no pagarial el pollo que estaba negro despues de comersolo el camarero de adicho que lo tiene que pagar ustdes que no lo pagarian entoce salio el cheff y le digo que tenia una cara dura y despues ni pagaron la bebida y el la calle de decia que tenia mucha cara no le insulto solo que tenian mucha cara y cuando un plato no esta bien se devuelve y no se come para no pagarlo pero detoas las malenras les quiero pedir disculapas lo siento mucho lo susedido

Visited here based on the generally positive reviews but it was a mistake. The food was really underwhelming and there wasnât really any ambience. We ate steak with wedges (seasoned really heavily and straight from a packet), and battered cuttlefish with chips. Both dishes were just about OK, but I wouldnât choose to go there again. It was reasonably priced - â¬32 for 3 beers, a side salad and 2 mains.

Food was simple and delicious. Staff seemed really rushed off their feet for such a small place and I had of ask for service every time. I think they might offer a simplified menu to Brits as I saw other tables eating things that werenât on mine. Food envy!

This restaurant is the |No. 1 in Santa Cruz, according to trip advisor. What a find! (it certaily took some finding as it is hidden away near lPlaceta Square). It's tiny, sitting 14 at a squash. The lady in charge tells you what it is on the menu (this takes some time). It is always fresh food, freshly cooked, and changeable daily. It is organic and non dairy. There was soup, several salads for starters, fresh tuna, pork, vegetarian lasagne, and tagliatelli for main, and puddings were ice cream, mousses or sorbet. Wine was excellent, and with coffee, a bottle of brandy was left with shot glasses, and a box of chocs. Three hours later everyone (english, german, finnish and danish) was merry and chatting. A wonderful evening.

8 scruffy soaking wet walkers arrived in mid afternoon and the chef said no problem. Very elegant ambiance, welcoming staff, made to feel we were welcome guests, fish options fully explained and no pressure to order despite late arrival. Service impeccable and not intrusive. We had a variety of starters and main courses. All well presented. The portions were surprisingly large, very tasty and the waiter remarked on the clean plates we left!! This was one of our best eating experiences in the Canaries. Pity its so far from the UK.

I ordered pepper steak, but could almost not get the knife through the meat. Looked like entrecote but the meat was divided with big tendons. The waiter asked if I liked it more done, but that could not make any difference to the quality.

This restaurant is a really nice place for entertaining people or to have a romantic dinner. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. This place also has a room for private parties. One can dine either inside or outside, however wherever you eat you will not be disappointed.
