Fuimos a merendar ayer, ya que estabamos por la zona. Pedimos unas tartas, tartas de tres chocolates y tarta de zanahoria. En ese momento ya no tenian mucho más, para próximas visitas espero pillar una de bizcocho: selva negra, chocolate, nutella...Las tartas estaban ricas, la de 3 chcocolates que yo comÃ, estaba bien hecha y sabia rica. La ración era de buen tamaño y nos atendieron de manera coordial y amable. En futuras visitas, espero probar de bizcocho.sirven café e infusiones oquendo, que no son mis favoritas.

Ibamos pensando que tendrÃan menú del dÃa o de fin de semana y no, solo carta pero rollo picoteo y alguna carne... Un tipo de hamburguesa y otro de sandwich. La carta está desordenada, necesita ordenarse, deberÃa estar por categorÃas tipo raciones, platos, sándwich, hamburguesas y demás platos sueltos. Y ampliar un poco la variedades de cada uno. La calidad estaba bien, y la atención del personal también. El sitio está limpio, es agradable estar allÃ, tiene buena iluminación debido a sus grandes ventanales. Nosotros si repetiriamos, pero como no amplien carta no es para ir muchas veces porque te aburriria. Y poner menú también vendrÃa bien.

We were staying in the Hotel Palacio Garcia Quijano, which has no restaurant. They suggested either a restaurant a short car ride away, or this bar-restaurant 6 minutes stroll.We were glad that we chose this, and even if it had been raining (not unknown in Cantabria!), we could have gone by car and parked easily.A village bar, THE village bar. Tables outside overlooking a sort of open square with a children's play area. Friendly staff, a good menu choice.And we were very pleased with both the food and the bill. Most definitely worth coming again, we shan't even consider driving to the restaurant. P.S. It has recently changed its name, after the interior was given a facelift, to make it seem more modern. Everyone seems to call it the Mesón de las Viñas, but it's official name over the door is Rincón de las Viñas. Don't think you've come to the wrong place!

Fuimos un grupo de amig@s a cenar, o al menos intentarlo. No puedo opinar de la comida porque el servicio fue malÃsimo. El hombre inicialmente nos puso la mesa pero en ningún momento nos tomó nota, ni de la bebida tan siquiera. A los 20min de espera le pedimos educadamente que si nos podÃa tomar nota y su reacción fue pasiva, 15min después decidimos irnos ya que no nos atendieron. Sinceramente no recomiendo el sitio por la falta de seriedad y la falta de educación del servicio.

Found details online close to where we were staying. Like the majority of restaurants in Spain, a 15⬠menu of the day was offered. Details are on their webpage. The food was the best set menu we have had on this trip, local specialities, well cooked and served by helpful staff in a nice setting. Dining area is set in a wedding type theme and restaurant location is nice with mountains all around. Would very much recommend.

We rented a casa via Brittany Ferries and were recommended Casa Paulino by our landlord, Felipe. Fantastic traditional atmosphere, all the other customers either local people or lorry drivers. Dinner very good, three plats, plus wine, agua and bread for 11E. We have eaten twice so far, fish soup was particularly good. Service very friendly, some English spoken.

Es un restaurante enfocado al menú diario y de fin de semana, cocina de mercado. Cabe destacar que los Jueves por la noche ofrecemos una oferta de pincho más consumición por 2,50â¬. La carta es simplemente un picoteo variado.

Staying close by, had the set lunch today. Three choices each for starter, main and dessert. We had the soup and stuffed tomato for starter, fried anchovies and veal in mustard sauce for main, chocolate mousse with pineapple and custard tart. All this with bread, water, wine and coffee for 21 euros. Good value and great food, very popular with local workers. We sat outside but room inside also. Would come again, good attentive service.

Solo decir que vale la pena hacer carretera y encontrarlo, y mira que está escondido. Comida casera, abundante, de calidad. La comida de la abuela de toda la vida. Hambre no pasarás. Y por 10 euros quién da más. De visita obligada si vas por la zona. Volveré si tengo la oportunidad.

We were very hungry when we reached this place after a long drive. Since, some of us were vegetarian we were looking for some veg sandwiches. The staff was very helpful and did some alterations to provide us with some nice sandwiches with fries. The wine was very good.
