We spent the afternoon eating, drinking, and relaxing after a morning at the Alhambra. It was delicious and a wonderful atmosphere. We watched the owner hand slice the jamon, as locals spent the afternoon with friends. The carrillada de cerdo al vino tinto (pork with red wine) is a must try - best tapas weâve had! Thanks for your lovely comment Jennifer! We hope to have you back if you ever come back to Granada!

I found this bar on tripadvisor and couldnât believe my luck. I had been very disappointed with a bar we went to the previous night who claimed to offer craft beer but only had 2/3 options and only one on tap. Here there is a selection of at least 20 on tap and many more in vans or bottles you really are spoilt for choice.What I liked most about this bar is that it is so refined more wine bar than normal bar. It has a lot of space between tables and the bar with bar stools and music playing. The service was friendly and efficient. We were offered a tapa but declined this. We enjoyed our beer choices and will definitely return and stay for food too.

The welcome was lovely and the restaurant is a beautiful place to sit - we dined with a fine view of the Alhambra by moonlight. The food was ok - perfectly acceptable dinner, and they are good with gluten-free. But it was far from the best food we had in Granada and it cost nearly â¬120 for dinner for two with wine, which was the most expensive dinner we had in Granada. We enjoyed ourselves, but watch out for the bill.

A good word in Spanish and English which sums this lovely bar up. It is one of the best things about TA that you can find a place like this, off the beaten track and local. We ordered beer and the tapas kept coming, when we asked for the beer they said ârelaxâ and bought us a beer on the house. The bill was far too little! This is a lovely place to visit

Dinner here last night was outstanding. A very quiet setting that seats about 20 people. Reservations are essential. The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday. Do not miss a chance to eat here. Service is outstanding and the food is delicious. Nice wine list too. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful place to enjoy the best local food in the city of Granada. Probably is the best restaurant that we visited in the beautiful Albaicin area, with the most delicious tapas and the best customer service in the city. Ell Gallo, since Pablo Sanchez took over at the helm has undergone a transformation. I cannot recommend highlyenough the croquetas caceras or the cochinillo. The latter being available 20 minutes from ordering. Get there early, it does run out. I recommend an early lunch and a house salad, and a peek at his excellent wine selection!

Leave the A92 at junction 249 & drive into the town of Alfacar where this nicely decorated traditional Spanish bar/restaurant is located.The Interior has rough plastered yellow/ochre coloured walls, beamed ceilings, maroon marble effect painted pillars, old dark furniture, small barrels, traditional tiling & brickwork, mirrors & a collection of old prints & photos. There is a brick built fireplace at one end of the room.Tables & chairs are nicely spaced, laid with white table cloths, white plates with patterned edging, red patterned napkins, chairs having red seats & chair backs. Well stocked bar with a good selection of wines & spirits. Row of bar stools. Staff pleasant & polite. Spanish spoken & dependent on the waiter a little English too. Toilets are located on a floor above the restaurant & accessed via a dog-leg staircase, they are clean & quite fresh smelling, fully tiled in blue & white, large mirror & hot air hand dryer. Not disabled/wheelchair friendly.Reasonable menu with a cheaper good value for money Menu deal Dia, (meal of the day). This appears to be a popular bar with locals. The food is quite well presented, but could do with being a little hotter. Outside there is a large terrace with further seating & another bar. This was my first visit with my wife & friends whilst travelling through the area. If I am in this location in the future I would revisit this establishment.
