Without doubt the best fish in the area, had large haddock which it was...Nice to have fish that doesn't stick to the paper and strips off the batter in the process.The Chips are excellent and loads of them, and as others have said the curry sauce is the best around.Nice friendly staff and good service

A newly refirbished restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.. staff were very lovely couldn't be more helpfulThe food was to an excellent standard, I was introduced to my lobster before it was prepared.I must say really delicious..I've never has Turkish red wine before, try it, pleasantly surprised.Hi Tiny good morning Thanks for sharing! Sushi / sashimi was superb and will return for this reason alone. Noodle dish didn't quite hit the heights but still good. Pleasant and attentive staff. All made for an enjoyable evening. Only gripe: the chairs are low and a little uncomfortable.

4. Melton Fish Bar

WE occasionally have fish and chips from Melton Fish Bar and the other evening we both ordered a medium cod. It was absolutely excellent. AS white as white as can be and perfectly cooked. Crisp batter and it was still hot when we got home, as it is cooked especially for each customer. I can highly recommend this Fish Bar.

Great chip shop located just off the village square (where you can park) .Staff were friendly and there was a good selection of frayed fish etc on offer. Despite being very busy they stayed open past there normal opening hours so well done and great service!

Weâve just come back from a great fish supper here, the lady who served us was lovely and the food was delicious.Being able to order alcohol from the bar is also a bonus.The restaurant has a nice, relaxed cosy feel.Thank you for being able to fit all 11 of us in on a rainy Sunday evening, and your kind gesture of giving my little nephews a free lolly pop, it was very much appreciated!Will be back again!

We come here for special occasions with my elderly parents who live in the area. Always good food, friendly and relaxing atmosphere, coupled with great views across the river.This Saturday was no exception.There was some small confusion recourse booking with the young waitress when we entered but this was resolved within a couple of minutes by the manager.Service and quality was spot on.With small children some pubs can be stuffy and condescending, but not here, reinforcing our great opinions of the Maybush.If you have the energy after a good meal walk down the path by the river for great views and watching the world sail by!
