Richard and Sarah look forward to welcoming you to this recently refurbished public house in the heart of Woodbridge. Find us at the beginning of Woodbridge's vibrant Thoroughfare for a friendly, relaxed visit to this historical building. Open all day, 7
Went for lunch yesterday with my wife & grandson and was told there would be a 25 minute delay for food. We were not in a hurry and were happy to wait. Starters arrived after 25 minutes but had to wait another 30 for our main courses after we finished them. The Hunters Chicken my wife & grandson had were horrible. The chicken was as tough as old boots, the bacon very overcooked and the bbq sauce foull. I mentioned this when paying & was told it was because it contained bourbon. Boubon sauce on a children's meal! Ridiculous. This lovely building has been restored well, but the quality of the food is very poor & will prove its undoing. We will not be going back.

We are a traditional quayside pub boasting old world charm, a roaring fire, dark wooden and flagstone floors. A warm welcome awaits you.We produce all our food freshly on the premises, sourcing as much of our ingredients as locally as possible. We are hap
We went as a family to one of our favourite haunts. Sadly, this time it was a little mixed. Amazing starters of the Vietnamese pork in little gem lettuce, could honestly have eaten that all night and rather feel that we should have left it there. The Jake on the specials board was chosen by three of us and was so dry, plain and disappointing. The fish itself was fine and well cooked, the saffron potatoes neither tasted of saffron or looked like theyâd been cooked with it. I appreciate that itâs an expensive spice, however, it does need to be used if advertised as such. The basil oil was overpowering. The steak was good as was the chicken. The service was very slow and we had to ask for more cutlery after our mains were served and she forgot about some sauce my daughter had asked for. Sorry, as we usually come away from here happy!

The Ufford Crown is owned and run by Max Durrant and Polly, with Polly's brother who is the Chef, Will Hardiman. We pride ourselves on our food and wines.Max has managed numerous pubs in London and the Home Counties before taking over The Crown with his v
The restaurant was very busy, but this did not affect the service.I had crab linguini for starters (delicious) followed by roast beef, which was very tender. Large Yorkshire pudding and fresh vegetables. The food was a good standard and the menu was varied and interesting. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely visit again.

found by chance when staying nearby. Had evening meal, quality was top notch portion size was perfect. Plenty of choice on the menu to suit all tastes. The two young ladies covering the bar and food service were very polite and helpful without being overly attentive.

We come here for special occasions with my elderly parents who live in the area. Always good food, friendly and relaxing atmosphere, coupled with great views across the river. This Saturday was no exception. There was some small confusion recourse booking with the young waitress when we entered but this was resolved within a couple of minutes by the manager.Service and quality was spot on.With small children some pubs can be stuffy and condescending, but not here, reinforcing our great opinions of the Maybush. If you have the energy after a good meal walk down the path by the river for great views and watching the world sail by!

I went to the restaurant having read the menu online and worked out that I could only have the ham and eggs. Then upon arrival discovered the double asterix meant gluten free version of the meal was available. Being unable to have dairy or gluten, I was able to have the fish and chips, plus, there was an amazing pudding too. I was too full but had it anyway as puddings like that for me are few and far between!!

has been closed for a while but recently reopened, completely refurbished. Part of the Deben Inns group
I liked everything about this pub. Plenty of parking, easy access for disabled people, no background music (which can be very difficult for autistic people and those with hearing difficulties), and a menu with enough variety to tempt both my husband and my daughter, who have very different tastes. The crowning glory for me was steamed suet steak pudding - a proper old British favourite and something I hardly ever see. It came with beautifully cooked veg and new potatoes and was delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient, the beer seemed well kept, the loos were spotless... I only wish I lived near enough for it to be my local.

British food with a Mediterranean flair offered by our Spanish chef from Zaragoza, working in conjunction with our talented British chef, creating that perfect fusion of ideas to tantalise one's taste buds!
We thought we would spend our anniversary in what looks like a lovely pub. Staff are lovely, so friendly and really can't do enough for you. But the menu is awful so pretentious please remember you are a village pub not a restaurant in London, really wanted a starter but even me the least fussy eater on the planet couldn't pick off this menu. We ordered what I thought was basis easy to cook food. How wrong I was burger was raw in the middle and fish was over cooked and dry. What a waste of money. Swan sort out your menu and then try cooking it better. 5 stars for staff 1 star for foodDear Diyqueen,Thanks for your review, and for complimenting our front of house Team which is sincerely appreciated. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your meal or anniversary celebrations with us. I must confess to being totally and abjectly bemused by your comments regarding the menu. I cannot understand how simple ingredients such as mussels, chicken in a roulade and soup can ever be deemed more significant than they actually are? Neither can I begin to understand the relevance of a restaurant in London and a pub in Suffolk? Does one surmise that aiming for high standards in service and quality of produce is uncalled for in Suffolk, if that is the case then I must firmly disagree. To conclude, I have recently returned from a business trip in South Africa and noticed a billboard outside a coffee shop in Franchoek which stated "Come in and try the worst coffee one reviewer on Trip Advisor had in her life!" perhaps we should do the same with our Menu! I am sorry that our establishment was not for youRegardsGary

Lovely pub in a beautiful village. Food all home cooked and it showed. I enjoyed the mackerel pate with IPA bread and also served Louise's soda bread, divine! Main was confit of duck served with pak choi and sweet potato mash, finished with pistachio ice cream and home made shortbread. Service, ambience and prices brilliant. A real find, will be back!

This is a beautiful pub, offering superb food and fantastic service for a very fair price. Went at the weekend for a birthday meal and all of us were very impressed. Three courses for £25 with a lovely selection of starters. I had pakora and would have that again. We all had a roast for main, loads of veg and the beef was cooked to perfection. Desserts were delicious, with plenty of tasty options. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, which made the visit all the more enjoyable. Cannot wait to go back! Dear Judge21uk,Thank you very much for your comments. We are very proud of our Sunday roast, using the finest local ingredients and I'm really pleased that you enjoyed it.We look forward to seeing you again soon. All the bestJemima
