This is a beautiful pub, offering superb food and fantastic service for a very fair price. Went at the weekend for a birthday meal and all of us were very impressed. Three courses for £25 with a lovely selection of starters. I had pakora and would have that again. We all had a roast for main, loads of veg and the beef was cooked to perfection. Desserts were delicious, with plenty of tasty options. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, which made the visit all the more enjoyable. Cannot wait to go back! Dear Judge21uk,Thank you very much for your comments. We are very proud of our Sunday roast, using the finest local ingredients and I'm really pleased that you enjoyed it.We look forward to seeing you again soon. All the bestJemima

The Crown at Woodbridge offers all that is great about escaping to the country, with all that is good about staying in a wonderful market town. With old fashioned inn keeping in a modern setting, we boast ten magnificent boutique bedrooms, a bustling bar

We are a cafe on the banks of the River Deben in Woodbridge. Serving hot and cold food and drinks, we also have a licence to serve Alcohol. Please come along to eat and drink and enjoy the wonderful location and extensive decking by the Model Boat Pond.
Hadn't been before so was a nice little find. Set amongst trees near the river with a nice seating area outside. The food and service was good and the sandwiches and brunch rolls were lovely. Very friendly staff to.

Group of 6 friends. We had not eaten here before and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meals and service. The menu was quite varied so all were accommodated in our different preferences. The staff were excellent, friendly and very efficient. Would we go again...a most definite YES

Great food. Fab service. Relaxed vibe.Thatâs what The Unruly Pig is all about. And we are multi award winning. Most recently, our Chef has been named as 'Best Pub Restaurant Chef 2019/20' by the Craft Guild of Chefs . Weâre a 16th century Suffolk Inn with
My husband and I visited The Unruly Pig with two of our friends who had recently got married. We went on a Saturday night and was really looking forward to it as the menu looked lovely! We were not disappointed, we shared starters which were delicious and then had a main each. The food was faultless and much better than your average pub grub so I am baffled by some of the negative reviews. Our waitress was lovely too (sadly I have forgotten her name) but she overheard that we were celebrating my friends wedding and arranged for a plate of celebratory ice cream to be given to them which really ended the evening perfectly. We are not from the area sadly but if we ever visit again we will definitely come back to the Unruly Pig! Thanks very much for your visit and very kind comments .We will look forward to your return visit!

British food with a Mediterranean flair offered by our Spanish chef from Zaragoza, working in conjunction with our talented British chef, creating that perfect fusion of ideas to tantalise one's taste buds!
We thought we would spend our anniversary in what looks like a lovely pub. Staff are lovely, so friendly and really can't do enough for you. But the menu is awful so pretentious please remember you are a village pub not a restaurant in London, really wanted a starter but even me the least fussy eater on the planet couldn't pick off this menu. We ordered what I thought was basis easy to cook food. How wrong I was burger was raw in the middle and fish was over cooked and dry. What a waste of money. Swan sort out your menu and then try cooking it better. 5 stars for staff 1 star for foodDear Diyqueen,Thanks for your review, and for complimenting our front of house Team which is sincerely appreciated. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your meal or anniversary celebrations with us. I must confess to being totally and abjectly bemused by your comments regarding the menu. I cannot understand how simple ingredients such as mussels, chicken in a roulade and soup can ever be deemed more significant than they actually are? Neither can I begin to understand the relevance of a restaurant in London and a pub in Suffolk? Does one surmise that aiming for high standards in service and quality of produce is uncalled for in Suffolk, if that is the case then I must firmly disagree. To conclude, I have recently returned from a business trip in South Africa and noticed a billboard outside a coffee shop in Franchoek which stated "Come in and try the worst coffee one reviewer on Trip Advisor had in her life!" perhaps we should do the same with our Menu! I am sorry that our establishment was not for youRegardsGary

Seasonal and local produce prepared fresh and daily by a restaurateur who is passionate about food and drink. Great friendly caring service and value. Operating one page daily menu. Catering for everyoneâs taste with unusual twist!
We had lobster for the main course which should be juicey and succulent and hot unfortunately it came Luke warm tough and chewy and for this they charge £27.00 per serving,it was not fresh but probably warmed up from frozen in a micro wave Also desert was a pudding warmed up in a micro wave something you would buy in a supermarket We were charged over two hundred pounds for four people with only 1 glass of wine each so not cheap The vegetables that came with the main dish were not freshly cooked and felt and tasted heated up At that price you expect fresh ingredients well cooked and well presented Saying that the staff were pleasant and friendly and we left a tip for them itâs the quality of the food that lets this establishment downThank you for taking the time to leave a review of the restaurant. We are sorry that you werenât happy with the quality of the food served to you. As often is the case, it is very frustrating for us to hear about your complaints AFTER your visit, and not at the time. Had you let us know at the time we would have offered you an alternative or prepared the meal again. We want all our customers to love our food and if you think it isnât up-to-scratch we will do everything we can to help. For the record, all our food is prepared fresh, as ordered. All the vegetables are freshly cooked and all our desserts are homemade from scratch. Also, we canât work out how you claim you were charged over £200 for your meal. The price of three courses + a glass of wine + coffee for four people would always be less than £200. Finally, thank you for praising our staff. I am sure they would have asked you after each course was served if you were happy. Next time you are dining in a restaurant and are not happy, please let the staff know!
