A very good lunch and a lovely table outside ... there was so much I liked on the menu that it was really difficult to chose always a good sign. We tried ordering a starter and one of the salad specials each and the lovely manager advised that he thought that may be too much to eat. We shared a delicious platter of ham and then had the salad he was right. Sadly we had no room for dessert ... the desserts looked absolutely amazing ! I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner !Hello Helen,We always try to be helpful with our customers so to ensure they have the best possible experience. You should definitely sample one of our dessert next time, they come straight from our very own bakery, and they are delicious.Hope to see soon at GUS!Anthony

L'Industrie

There are too many restaurants in small Saint-Remy, all clustered around a couple of streets, so we asked a local's recommendation. This restaurant is simple, nothing fancy about its ambiance but the service is very friendly and efficient. We had an excellent dinner, mostly pastas, and it was well worth the price.

We had the excuse of a lovely jazz trio to entice us to give this newly opened restaurant a try. Disappointing, the 6 oysters for 18 euros came with 1 tiny slice of lemon, no butter, no vinegar sauce, no brown bread. Upon request all the above appeared except the pan de Siegel. The tuna at 22 euros was tasty but lacked zing and was not good value for money. We did enjoy the white wine from Terre Blanches at 30 euros, usually at 22 or so elsewhere. Once was enough but we wish them well.
