The patron is welcoming, explains his dishes well, nice variety between tapas, salads and main courses. The prices are reasonable. It is a place to visit again! And they have wifi ! The chairs are really comfortable. Try it!

Côté Plage is a gorgeous beach club on Canet Plage near the centre of the beach. The decor is very funky, Bali vibes! It's very chilled with great food and service. There's a kids area, sunbeds, hammocks, deckchairs as well as proper dining tables inside and out. The beach is white sand with amazing views of the mountains. I love this this place!

This is the third time I have visited this restaurant and cannot wait to go back again. The best seafood in the area without doubt, everything fresh and cooked to order. The restaurant area seats about 30 and there is an external patio area but is very popular so booking is advised. It is not glamorous and everything is basic apart from the food which is outstanding. There are various platters to choose from and all offer great value as does the wine list. There is also a great demand for their take away service which again is best to pre-order. The service is very friendly, efficient and helpful and overall a wonderful experience.Merci Convivialité est notre leitmotiv Qualité et respect du client sont nos priorités à très bientôt

Nous y sommes allés 5 fois durant notre séjour . Nous n'y avons mangé que des produits de la mer, comme les autres années. Très bien . Nous aurions aimé un petit changement dans les accompagnements .Un petit conseil, comme dans d'autres restaurants de la côte, prévoir un espace non-fumeur sur votre terrasse . Nous avons dû manger à l'intérieur car la fumée m'incommode , je suis allergique .

Eating at our hotel's restaurant is something we do once in a blue moon, and mostly only when in dire straits. Generally we're proven right in our reluctance. Not here! While the hotel is an unpresumptious five star review in its own right, the restaurant could easily compete on the main street. They offer - at quite reasonable prices - both a range of à la carte dishes and a set 1/2/3-course menu with a choice between 2-3 dishes in every course that changes every day. Their 3 course menu at ⬠28 was a delight, and as we chose differently for all three courses we both got to taste six examples of the chef's abilities. While unassuming, the attention to detail, the fine balances of flavour and the commitment to high quality fresh ingredients were apparant in every mouthfull.There was an artisan beer to be had - a pink blonde (!) - that was also delicious.Need I write that we recommend? No? Excellent!

En week-end au Canet en Roussillon, nous avons choisi ce restaurant en marchant le long de la promenade simplement en regardant les cartes des restaurants. "Une belle histoire " est un restaurant raffiné a la décoration méditerranéenne sobre.Nous avons pris un tartare de thon et un tartare de bÅuf, ils étaient tout les deux excellents.Avec des produits frais et des frites fait maison, nous avons adorés.Le service est souriant et a l'écoute.Le restaurant porte bien son nom.Nous le recommandons pour les personnes voulant passé un moment convivial autour d'un bon repas au produits de qualité.

We visited Canet en Rousillon for a holiday and was given a recommendation for Can Marcel. It certainly didn't disappoint the food was wonderful and so was the service. The waitress explained each meal to us and made us feel very relaxed and welcome. The 2 men in our party had the Red Tuna which was a special of the day, my friend had roasted monkfish tail on a bed of potatoes and onions and I had an amazing selection of shellfish. Highly recommended.

Stay away this establishment, they exercise racial abuse. Never been treated so badly by management. My partner and I were thrown out after not being able to understand the menu and as we walked away this staff began to slur and signal racial abuse. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. It sadness me how Restaurants can still carry on in this manner. It's not my habbit to review restaurants since I don't consider myself to be a food critic, but this restaurant just has to be praised. Nostra Mar is located away from the tourist boulevard of Canet Plage, so you'll probably find mainly locals here. In my opinion a good sign for quality local food. This establishment consist of two parts, the restaurant and a little fish market. On the menu there are a variaty of fish tapas. Besides that there is also the possibility of choosing a fish from the market, which will then be prepared to your liking in the kitchen of the restaurant. We opted for the latter, and choose a sole, wich was without a doubt one of the best soles i have ever eaten.I highly recommend you to leave all that tourist crap in Canet behind and go eat a fish at Nostra Mar.........!!!!
